December 26 20112011-12-26December 26 20112011-12-26August 16 20142014-08-16A large screen displays a video-conference grid of multiple remote sites, each labelled with a banner: Houston Kalahasthi, Toronto Kailasam, Ohio Prayag, Calgary Amarnath, Seattle Chidambaram, Sri Nithyanandeswara Hindu Temple, Guadeloupe and Kuala Lumpur - Palani. Participants in each panel sit on mats or chairs during puja and satsang, with a homa fire pit, kalasha offerings and a deity shrine visible in several. The screen is shown in a dark room, and the grid features roughly ten to twenty visible people across the panels, with one person in a white shirt and light-coloured clothing in the Guadeloupe panel.2013-10-15October 07 20132013-10-07A projected screen shows a nine-panel video grid of separate locations linked together. Panels show a temple shrine with a sign reading MALAYSIA PALANI, a woman in white standing by a staircase beside a sign reading CALGARY AMARNATH, a group seated before shrines with a sign reading LOS ANGELES, a seated group holding signs in front of a red curtain reading TORONTO SILASAM, a shrine room with a sign reading OHIO, a man in white seated on a mat with a sign reading SINGAPURAM, and a group standing on temple steps holding a sign reading SAN JOSE MADURAI. Several panels show people holding handwritten or printed placards. The image is a photograph of a projection screen, so the people visible are on the screen rather than physically present.2012-04-04A large display screen shows a multi-panel video conference grid of several locations running ritual sessions. Top left, a woman in a patterned top sits beside a seated man in white with a rudraksha mala, a floral garland on a framed portrait, and a printed name plate reading "CHARLOTTE SESHAILAM"; a small-looking bag rests nearby. Top right, people in white sit on mats before a decorated shrine with a deity murti and a kalasha offering, with a sign reading "OK LAHOMA SOMNATHAM". Middle left, robed men and women sit in a group ritual with a name sign reading "ARUNACHALA". Middle right, two seated people and a woman on a orange-tiled floor sit near offerings and flowers, with a sign reading "GUADELOUPE". Surrounding panels show small home altars and people in additional rooms. The screen itself is the central subject.November 23 20132013-11-23A large display screen showing a multi-panel video conference grid of satsang participants seated on floors and mats in various rooms, with name placards including NEW YORK VARANASI, CALGARY AMARNATH, SOMNATH, TUCSON, VANCOUVER PURI and CHARLOTTE SRISAILAM. Many people in white, cream, blue and purple clothing sit cross-legged, some with notebooks. In the bottom-right panel, a figure in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and a garland sits before an ornate golden throne with floral decorations, appearing to be the presenter for the session, and this appearance-based identification is probable: a person, seated on a golden peetha. Other panels show a framed portrait and an altar with flowers. The screen is partially visible at the right edge.2011-11-05April 14 20132013-04-14A photograph of a dark display screen showing a multi-window video feed of remote centres, with labelled panels reading NEW JERSEY - Omkareshwar, Calgary Amarnath, CHARLOTTE-SRISAILAM and SINGAPURAM. Panels show people seated or standing in rooms: a woman in a red-and-maroon sari sits on a rug in the New Jersey panel, a group of devotees with folded hands stands in the Calgary panel, a person in white sits on the floor in the Charlotte panel, and a woman in a green sari with palms together appears in another panel. A small purple logo sits in the top-left corner and a partial feed of a room is visible on the right edge of the screen. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable in the visible panels.2013-04-01Photo 11731446 +1 copies
