A photograph of a decorated deity murti pair seated within a gilded arched niche, with a golden shivalinga-like form in front. The two figures are golden-complexioned with ornate silver and red jewellery, rudraksha-style beads, and a trident held in one hand; one wears a red and green turban with a crown, the other a dark cap, and both are in orange and purple silk. The murtis are framed by large garlands of yellow marigolds, purple and red flowers, and green leaves, with a brass lamp stand at left.2009-12-26Two gilded metal murti statues of a deity couple seated side by side against a backdrop of marigold, purple and white flower garlands. The male figure wears a red-orange turban with a vertical tilak and holds a golden trident aloft, with a rudraksha mala and gold necklaces over red robes. The female figure wears a tall ornate crown, red robes, gem-set jewelry, and holds a small green parrot on her raised hand. Their hands and garments are decorated with white and green stone inlay. The setting suggests a temple decorated with flowers, consistent with a darshan display of deity murtis rather than living people.2010-12-28April 07 20082008-04-07 +2 copiesTwo golden statues dressed in red garments, adorned with garlands of yellow marigolds, purple and magenta flowers, and white jasmine strands. The figure on the left wears a red turban with a jewelled ornament, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, holding a trident and a small ornate hand; the figure on the right wears a jewelled crown, layered gold and bead necklaces, red sari-style dress with embroidered borders, and holds a lotus-like object. These are deity murti statues, not living people, set before a red curtain at a temple shrine.2010-12-28December 26 20102010-12-26December 30 20072007-12-30March 03 20112011-03-03Two golden deity murti figures on a procession vehicle, framed by an ornate gold arch and draped in long garlands of yellow, white, red and purple flowers. The female figure wears a purple and blue silk sari, a jewelled crown and an embellished nose ring with layered gold and gemstone necklaces. Their hands are raised in gesture. The scene reflects a festival procession with dense floral decoration and a dark velvet backdrop.2008-12-28 +1 copiesDecember 26 20102010-12-26 +1 copiesDecember 15 20112011-12-15A photograph of a temple shrine with an ornate golden arch framing a central deity murti, a seated male and female figure in red and gold, adorned with white and multicoloured garlands and necklaces.
