Unfinished concrete building interior at night, with exposed grey breeze-block walls, a concrete staircase without railings, protruding rebar rods overhead and a partly open ceiling. A man in a white collared shirt and dark trousers stands at left, pointing or gesturing toward the upper wall while holding a small object in one hand. Overhead fluorescent light fixtures are visible, and city lights glow through an open doorway at left.

Unfinished concrete staircase descending between bare grey block walls with rough plastered surfaces. A metal ladder leans against the back wall at the bottom beside a patch of loose brown soil and a stack of concrete blocks. A small green plastic piece lies on a step. No people, deities or ritual objects are visible; the scene reads as a construction site in progress.

A photograph of an unfinished concrete staircase in a plain white-walled interior. Grey concrete steps descend beside a wall with an open window showing a dark area. Loose rebar rods and exposed black electrical cables run across the steps, and a dark square opening with a grey metal cover sits at the bottom of the stairs. A bare leg in white trousers and brown sandals is visible at the upper right edge. No person is clearly the focus, and no ritual, devotee or a person is visible.

2005 - View-of-Ananda-Sabha-Construction

A photograph of an unfinished concrete building under construction. Grey concrete block walls rise on the left, with rough timber poles and bamboo-like props leaning against them. Scaffolding of wooden planks and metal pipes spans the interior, and loose rubble and broken blocks lie on the dirt floor. A single worker in a white vest and grey trousers stands on a raised plank among the scaffolding, with exposed rebar and concrete columns visible behind him and an orange electrical cable hanging on the right.

A photograph of a construction site showing concrete block walls being built in stepped courses against a cloudy sky with palm trees behind. A single worker in a white shirt and light head covering stands on top of the upper wall section, near a partially built wall with decorative breeze-block openings. Lower grey and whitish blocks form the foundation, with loose blocks and rubble on the ground in front.

A photograph of an unfinished interior under construction, showing a rough-plastered doorway frame with a white border on the left. Beyond it, a grey concrete-block wall with exposed stone blocks is visible, and a small framed wooden item hangs on a cord against the block wall beside an open doorway leading into a darker room with a tiled floor. A plastered wall with stains runs along the right side. No people are present.

A photograph of a building under construction with unfinished grey concrete block walls and a corrugated metal roof supported by steel trusses. In the centre, a worker in a dark cap and light shirt crouches on top of a freshly laid row of blocks, working on the wall. Loose debris, timber, and a wooden pole lean against the walls, and daylight comes through the open roof gap at the top right.
