A gilded statue of a figure in a multicoloured turban with peacock-feather ornament, wearing a white satin garment layered with pink flower garlands, red and green gemstone necklaces, pearl strands and gold chains. It holds a golden flute in one hand and raises the other hand, set against a bejewelled golden shrine backdrop. The statue is shown during a Krishna Janmashtami pada puja, the figure's depiction in a statue rather than a living person, so no physical people are visible. Lower text reads Krishna Janmashtami - Pratyaksha Pada Puja.2021-08-30April 25 20202020-04-25 +1 copiesJuly 05 20202020-07-05Photo 11717514 +2 copiesApril 30 20202020-04-30December 28 20182018-12-28October 14 20182018-10-14February 17 20212021-02-17A life-size bronze-coloured statue of a standing figure in a red and gold turban with a jewelled ornament at the front. A gold-coloured staff rests against its left side with an orange-gold cloth tied at the top, and its right hand is raised in a blessing gesture while the left hand is open. Behind it hang deep maroon curtains and a colourful painted cloth with white birds and floral patterns in blue, red, green and yellow. Its right hand is raised in blessing and its left hand is open, with white and orange-red floral garlands draped over the shoulders. Behind it is an ornate gold arch with crystal and bead decoration, and a second golden figure stands in the background. The figure is a statue or murti, not a living person, and the scene is an ornate decorated display.2020-03-26
