August 07 20172017-08-07Night-time photograph of a large crowd of devotees gathered outdoors in front of a reddish-brown building with a small air conditioner unit and a wheelie bin. Many people wear white ritual clothing with orange or red-bordered shawls and rudraksha malas, while others wear orange saffron-coloured garments. A woman in the centre wears a white sari with a red shawl and mala. Foreheads show white and red markings, and a few people hold their hands together. No clearly identifiable ornate-robed figure with long hair or crown is distinctly visible in the crowd, so the a person candidate is uncertain. A purple logo appears in the upper left corner.2017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07Night-time photograph of a large crowd gathered outdoors on a paved courtyard between tall reddish-brown buildings, with a streetlamp glowing above. Many people wear saffron-orange garments, and several young women and girls have rudraksha malas and beaded necklaces. Men in white dhoti-style clothing and white shirts with red-and-saffron shawls stand among them. A bare-headed man in white with a saffron-and-white shawl stands near the centre. Striped rugs lie on the ground, and a cameraman with a camera stands at the left edge filming the gathering.2017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07August 07 20172017-08-07February 17 20162016-02-17February 17 20162016-02-17August 07 20172017-08-07Night-time outdoor gathering at an ashram-style compound with a red brick building behind. A crowd of devotees in white clothes, many men in white shirts and dhotis and women in white saris with gold borders, stands close together with arms raised and hands folded. Some hold their palms up in devotion while others clap or wave. A bright illuminated vehicle or float is visible at the far left, and a blue tarpaulin hangs at the right edge. People wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and lanyards. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the scene is described by roles only as a devotional procession or celebration.2015-11-11
