A woman with long, wavy dark hair and a small white tilak on her forehead stands in profile at the left, wrapped in a draped mauve-brown garment and wearing a rudraksha mala across her shoulder. She looks upward with her hands raised together in front of her, in a prayerful pose. Behind her, a carved grey stone structure with a lion-like figure and brass oil lamps sits on a stone ledge, framed by red-orange curtains and orange walls. This is a photo of one person in a temple-style hall.2011-08-31A barefoot person with long, dark, wavy hair stands on a leopard-print mat facing a carved grey stone altar in a temple-like hall. They wear an orange cloth wrapped over one shoulder with a gold border, and orange dhoti-style draped garments, with hands folded at the waist. Behind them are orange curtains with a diamond pattern, a brass lamp stand and oil lamps on the altar ledge, and a red and gold patterned rug. The person is clothed in orange and has a dark cord around the neck; they do not wear a crown or turban, and there are no other visible people.2011-08-22May 14 20132013-05-14 +1 copiesAugust 31 20112011-08-31A barefoot man stands in prayer pose, palms pressed together at his chest, eyes closed, on a wet dark stone slab beside a low yellow-stained wall. He wears a plum-coloured draped garment over a bare shoulder, with a dark rudraksha-style bead necklace and a red dot on his forehead. Massive banyan tree roots and trunks rise behind him. A purple circular logo appears at lower left.2011-08-31A man stands barefoot on a pink and white patterned mat in front of a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots, with a low whitewashed wall behind him. He wears a rust-orange unstitched wrap with gold-bordered edges, a matching orange shawl, and multiple strands of rudraksha-style beads across his chest with a large silver pendant. He has a silver bracelet-style arm band and beaded bangles on his wrists, and a sandalwood-coloured tilak with a red dot on his forehead. He stands with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, a gesture of greeting or reverence. The page indicates this is Swamiji, and the appearance shows long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas, ornate arm and wrist adornments and orange clothing, so the appearance-based identification is probable.2013-01-21September 09 20112011-09-09A man with long dark hair and a red bindi walks barefoot through a carved stone doorway toward an illuminated shrine niche. He wears a rust-orange shawl draped over a matching orange dhoti with gold borders, a brown rudraksha mala across his chest, and a silver necklace at his throat. Behind him a white carved arch framed by warm orange lights shelters a silver shrine with brass lamps and a deity murti. The page flags Swamiji for this event and the man's long hair, orange clothing, rudraksha mala and ceremonial necklace are consistent with that, so this is a probable match. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), walking into the shrine room.2012-06-03 +1 copiesA single woman in an orange-brown sari with a gold-striped border bows deeply at a grey stone platform, pressing her forehead toward the carved stone edge with both hands extended. She wears bangles, a gold necklace and earrings, and stands barefoot on a patterned mat. Behind the platform sits a small gold deity murti with a gold arch, a brass oil lamp (oil lamp) on the stone ledge, and red-and-white striped walls. The setting appears to be a temple or ashram hall.2013-01-17January 15 20132013-01-15 +1 copiesFebruary 11 20122012-02-11Outdoor shrine scene: a man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands barefoot with palms pressed together in anjali on a dark stone floor, facing a black deity murti draped in a yellow cloth with a pink curtain behind, and a pile of red offerings in front. He wears a white forehead mark, a long gold-beaded necklace and a gold armlet, with long dark hair, in front of a stone altar and small red mats. Suggests a puja or darshan moment.2013-03-03
