Night outdoor fire ritual at a brick-and-stone homa pit with red-and-white striped borders, scattered orange marigold petals and a smoke haze rising. A bare-chested man in white dhoti kneels at the pit with palms pressed together, bowing forward. Beside him, a priest in a white dhoti and shawl holds a brass tray and stands with a shaved head and dark-rimmed glasses. Seated devotees in white clothes sit on mats, hands folded in prayer, including a woman in white and a man with a rudraksha mala. A large crowd stands behind in the dark, many in white, pink, blue and red saris and shirts, hands joined. Small lights are visible in the background.

Night outdoor fire ritual at a red-and-white brick homa pit, with a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and sacred thread raising a tray of flames over the pit. A seated assistant in white clothes and a rudraksha-style necklace attends beside it, and a woman in a white shawl with hands folded stands at left. Behind, a standing group of devotees in white, red and pink saris and shirts watches with hands joined. At right a framed photograph of a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes and beads, garlanded with marigolds, sits on a white-draped table beside a small brass lamp and kalasha. Marigold petals are scattered in the pit and on the ground, with a bright floodlight overhead.

Night-time photograph of a priest in white dhoti and shawl with red border, barefoot, holding a brass plate of flame (aarti) toward a row of seated women with palms pressed together in devotion. A woman in blue sari and another in green-bordered sari are prominent; a woman in white sari with a green bag sits at left, and a woman in purple shawl and glasses stands among them. Behind them, more white-clad devotees and dark figures stand near a glowing orange structure, with lamps in the background.

Night outdoor ritual on a lawn lit by floodlights. A fire burns in a rectangular brazier at lower right, where a priest bent forward in white dhoti and red shawl tends the flame; another priest with a shaved head and red-and-white sash sits behind. In the centre a woman in a red sari and rudraksha-style mala stands with hands folded. A row of about a dozen devotees in white clothes with red shawls stands along the left with palms pressed together. Behind, a silver ornate peetha or small shrine holds a deity murti under a white umbrella, and a man in white stands at the back. Fire pit with homa-style offerings.

Night outdoor photo of a devotional aarti at an open-air ground lit by small lamps and a few tall street lamps. In the foreground a bald man in white dhoti and shawl stands barefoot on a woven mat, holding a large brass lamp with a bright flame in both hands. Behind him another man in white holds a lit lamp stand, and an ornate lit lamp tower glows in the background. Rows of devotees in white clothes sit on mats facing the lamps with palms pressed together in prayer, and brass ritual vessels lie on the mat in front. A white pillar and a white platform with red-and-white striped borders stand to the right.

In the foreground, a priest in white dhoti with a white head turban and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces holds a lit lamp over a square brick fire pit (homa) with open flame and offering vessels. Behind, a seated figure in red and orange robes sits on a mat beneath a white ceremonial umbrella, possibly the presiding figure, with an attendant in orange nearby. A line of devotees in white clothes and folded hands stands at left, some wearing shawls, with children at right. Lights and a small lit tree stand in the background.

A priest in a white dhoti and white headcloth with a bare upper body pours from a silver vessel into the fire, while a woman in red garments and a rudraksha mala assists beside him. A crowd of devotees stands in a semicircle in white and red-trimmed shawls, many with palms pressed together in namaskar. Offerings and brass vessels sit near the fire, with a street lamp and building lights behind.

Night outdoor fire ritual on grass: a brick-lined fire pit burns brightly in the foreground beside brass bowls and small oil lamps. A woman in a red-orange sari with a beaded necklace holds a tray with offerings. To the right, a man in white with a white turban and a red-and-gold striped white dhoti stands with a ritual vessel. Behind, a line of about 20 devotees in white kurtas and dhotis and red shawls stands with palms pressed together. A bright floodlight and street lamps light the scene. This appears to be a homa or yagna.

Night outdoor ritual on a grassy lawn lit by a bright floodlight. A large crowd of devotees in white and red-brown shawls stands in rows, hands pressed in namaskar, many with heads bowed. In the foreground a figure in a white and striped sari kneels at a fire pit, tending a flame with ritual offerings, brass vessels and bundles arranged on a cloth beside it. Nearby a woman in a red sari with a beaded necklace stands with folded hands beside a decorated canopy and a small illuminated structure. This appears to be a homa or fire ritual performed outdoors at night.
