A wide photograph of a dusty open dirt ground in front of a hazy hill with a tall flagpole. On the left, four men walk away from the camera: the foremost wears an orange saffron robe and orange head covering, carrying a black bag, while the others wear white dhotis, one bare-chested. Further right a paved road lined with trees and lamp posts leads toward a low building, with two more white-clad people walking and a parked car. A small walled garden area with a stone heap and a sign lies in the middle distance.2011-01-16Two people walk away from the camera across a dusty, partly cleared plot of land with scrubby green shrubs and bare red-brown earth. The person on the left wears a white kurta and white dhoti with an orange shawl draped over the shoulder and carries a walking stick. The person on the right wears an orange shawl and orange garment and holds a long cane, with long dark hair visible. A low white-painted boundary wall runs along the right side, with grey metal basins on the ground and a yellow construction vehicle at the far left. Beyond the plot, levelled earth, half-built structures and trees stretch under a pale blue sky with wispy clouds. +1 copiesDecember 01 20092009-12-01 +2 copiesAugust 05 20092009-08-05Two men in saffron-orange garments walk across a bare, excavated earth site. The man on the left wears a red-orange shirt with an orange dhoti and dark shoes; the man on the right wears an orange shawl wrapped over an orange dhoti, with a shaved-or-short head and bare feet. A yellow excavator sits behind them beside a deep pit, with palm trees and a distant tree line under a pale sky. Tire tracks and mud ridges mark the ground, consistent with pond or construction work in progress.2008-02-12January 04 20082008-01-04 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of three men walking across a bare dirt field past two stacks of white cinder blocks. The central figure wears an orange-saffron robe draped over the body with long dark hair, sandals and a walking stick, and is flanked by two men in white kurtas with orange-saffron shawls, one holding a phone. Behind them stand a rocky hill, palm trees, a thatched hut with colourful cloth and a utility pole. The central figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the central figure is recorded as a person with uncertain depiction status.2006-10-07A photograph of a group walking along a dirt path beside a wire fence, past piles of cut grey stone slabs and a red-orange brick building with a water tank on a tall stand behind it. In the foreground, two men in saffron-orange robes walk ahead: the nearer one on the left wears a dark shoulder bag and a rudraksha mala, and the one at centre wears a long rudraksha mala and sandals, with his hands at his chest. Behind them, roughly fifteen men in white dhotis and white shirts or shawls, several with shaved heads, walk in a loose file, some with hands folded. Palm trees and green foliage fill the background under an overcast sky.2010-09-08August 05 20092009-08-05A photograph of two men walking away from the camera across a bare, dusty dirt ground with sparse grass and scattered rocks, a hillside of quarried stone and a utility pole behind them. The figure on the left has long, loose dark hair, is bare-backed, and wears an orange saffron cloth wrapped around the body with an orange shawl over the shoulder, with sandals on his feet. The man on the right wears a white kurta and white dhoti, an orange shawl draped over his shoulder, and has a shaved head. Both walk side by side in the open ground.2007-02-24November 21 20142014-11-21January 02 20102010-01-02 +2 copies
