Outdoor ritual photo at a blue pool lined with banana leaves and a red-fringed canopy. Three men lean over the water: on the left a man in white clothes, in the centre a man in a gold-and-orange kurta with a white and red shawl and dark glasses, bending to immerse a small deity murti in the water, and on the right a grey-haired man in an orange robe with a wristwatch, also reaching into the pool. Spectators in colourful clothes stand behind under red-tasselled umbrellas. The water appears to be part of an abhishekam-style ceremony.

Outdoor photo at a temple-like site under trees and palms. A man in an orange turban and saffron robe, with a long garland of white flowers and yellow marigolds and rudraksha malas, stands at centre with a smile while a bald man in white and a red-saffron robe with rudraksha beads holds up a clear kalasha vessel topped with green mango leaves and white flowers. A man in a blue cloth stands in the foreground with his back to the camera, and several onlookers in white dhotis and orange shawls crowd around.

Night photo of a street procession in Tamil Nadu. In the foreground a woman in a white sari holds a brass kalasha with a yellow flower and a garland, while a young man in an orange cloth with a white headband kneels before a large green banana-leaf structure. Several saffron-robed sannyasis wearing rudraksha malas stand in the crowd, with white-shirted onlookers and a bright light in the background. The scene suggests a ritual offering along the route.

Outdoor temple procession scene in bright daylight. In the foreground, a man in orange robes and a maroon shawl holds a silver kalasha decorated with marigolds, white flowers and mango leaves, topped with a yellow coconut. Beside him, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe, a long white garland with red and orange flowers, and a rudraksha mala, extending a hand toward the kalasha. Behind them, men in white dhotis and orange-clad attendants stand near a red and gold ceremonial umbrella and a tall gold-topped staff. Palm trees and a bus appear in the background.

Outdoor photo of a procession at the first Kumbha Mela in USA, with a red-and-white fringed canopy overhead and large green banana-plant stalks and leaves in the foreground. A bearded man with grey-white hair and beard wears a saffron-orange robe and holds a red object near the banana stalks. Beside him, an older man in a pale cream-yellow robe and glasses stands near a wooden frame. On the right, a woman in a red embroidered outfit, gold jewellery and glasses stands with hands folded, next to a man in orange clothing. Flowers, trees and a few other onlookers appear in the background.

Outdoor photo at an ashram entrance with a banana tree and white building behind. On the left, a man with dark hair in a rust-red robe, a white jasmine garland and a red-flower garland, reaches out his hands with a smile. On the right, an older man with white hair and a white tilak wears an orange-saffron robe and smiles while holding a silver tray with a brass kalasha topped with green leaves and white flowers, offering it to him. Behind them, a woman in an orange sari with a red bindi and garland, a man in white with a red shawl, and several devotees in saffron and white clothing gather and watch.

Night outdoor temple-procession scene with string lights overhead. A man with long dark hair and a vibhuti marking on his forehead, wearing a saffron-orange robe, a pink flower garland and gold-toned necklaces, holds a brass-and-green-leaf kalasha-style pot at the centre. Around him men in white shirts and dhotis and saffron-scarved devotees crowd close, while a man in white at the right pours from a vessel. Marigold garlands hang on a white pillar at left, with green leaves and bowls on the ground.

Outdoor photo of a ceremonial welcome under a canopy of red and multicoloured tasselled umbrellas amid foliage. A central figure in an orange turban and orange robe wears a thick garland of yellow marigolds, white flowers and red blossoms, and holds a gold ceremonial staff, smiling as he extends his hands over a flame on a metal plate held by an older woman in a red top who receives arati. To the left, a bespectacled man in white dhoti and orange shawl with rudraksha mala holds a steel tray of flowers. Behind them, several men in white shirts and dhotis, some with mala necklaces, stand among onlookers. The central figure shows distinctive ceremonial cues, so this is an appearance-based a person candidate, present in person.
