September 21 20172017-09-21A photograph of a row of ornate silver-framed shrines on a bare stone floor within a tented hall. Several deity murtis are seated in arched canopies with silver umbrellas above them, draped in garlands of orange, white and red flowers and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Brass oil lamps (deepas) stand in a line in front, and a few scattered flower petals lie on the floor. Deep red and blue cloth backdrops frame the shrines. No people are visible in the scene.2015-09-10January 13 20152015-01-13A hall displaying festival processional vehicles and deity figures. Ornate gold-painted palanquins and chariot-like thrones with arched canopies stand in a row, each topped by a colourful embroidered umbrella. Vehicles carry deity murtis in red, green and purple garments, and a gilded lion-mounted figure and a golden seated figure with raised hand stand on the floor. A horse-headed carved vehicle with red and blue trim sits to the left. Framed photographs hang on the wall behind, a red chair stands in front, and no physical people are visible.2017-09-16September 10 20152015-09-10October 04 20102010-10-04 +1 copiesJanuary 12 20152015-01-12 +1 copiesA covered hall with a red floor shows a row of gold-painted ceremonial vehicles and sculptures. Gold carved canopies, pillars and lion or animal figures frame deity murtis dressed in colourful cloth and jewellery. On the right stands an ornate gold palanquin with a tiered roof. Several decorative yellow and red ceremonial standards with circular emblems stand in front. No physical people are visible; the scene looks like a staging area for a procession.2016-12-09May 14 20152015-05-14A staged stage setting with a striped woven floor mat in red, green, blue and yellow. On the left, a seated man in an orange-red robe and red turban sits on a gold ornate throne with a small trident and a golden parasol behind him. Centre and right, several deity murtis, dressed with garlands of marigolds and beads, sit on gold thrones under a green curtain and golden canopies, with a kalasha-style lamp stand and ceremonial fans. A brick-and-stone pit and a small brass lamp stand sit on the floor. The seated figure on the left is an appearance-based candidate for a person, seated on a throne, wearing orange-red robes, a turban and a rudraksha-style mala, so a person is set to unsure. Ceiling lights and a dark backdrop frame the scene.2015-05-23January 12 20152015-01-12May 03 20162016-05-03
