May 10 20172017-05-10June 08 20172017-06-08Night photo of an outdoor event at the Nithyananda Peetham Tiruvannamalai Aadheenam. A large maroon banner dominates the frame, with a portrait on its left side showing a smiling man with long dark hair, a dark garment and a beaded garland, labelled as a portrait on the banner. Bright stage lights and strings of green and red fairy lights hang above. Several dark silhouettes of audience members in the foreground face the banner. The printed banner gives the ashram's name and address, a phone number, and a line stating the site is the city of a person's advent on Planet Earth.2017-05-10Large outdoor billboard mounted on a red brick wall, showing a smiling man in a red-orange turban with a jeweled ornament, a rudraksha-style beaded mala, a gold-and-beaded necklace and an armband, seated on a gold-and-red throne with a red cushion. The printed Tamil and English text announces Nithyananda Peetham, Tiruvannamalai Aadheenam, and the wall has floodlights above. The sign reads as an institutional banner, and the seated figure appears to be a depiction on the billboard, with appearance cues that are only partly distinctive.2017-05-10A large outdoor billboard mounted on an orange brick wall, displaying the Nithyananda Peetham Tiruvannamalai Aadheenam sign. The left side shows a painted or printed portrait of a smiling man with a dark red turban, ornate gold earring and bangles, a brown beaded shawl over a red-orange robe, seated on a red cushioned throne. Bold Tamil and English text on a deep red background gives the address Girivalapathai, Tiruvannamalai, and phone numbers. Floodlights and cameras are mounted above the sign.2017-05-10A photograph of a large blue banner mounted on a white wall, reading Nithyananda Gurukul with its Tamil equivalent and the Nithyananda Foundation logo. The banner shows a smiling man in a cream-coloured turban with a red bindi, long dark hair and a dark embroidered garment with a white sash, labelled as a portrait by the banner's printed name. Below the banner, two people are partly visible at the bottom edge: an older man with a shaved head and a younger man with long hair and a white tilak on his forehead, both seen only from the shoulders up. Framed photographs hang on a wall shelf at the right edge.2006-10-02January 08 20122012-01-08A large outdoor banner on a stage announces the International Vedic Hindu University of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, with a Tamil line reading 1008 Sapta Yagam held for world peace. The banner shows a portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban with a red bindi, wearing an orange garment and gold necklaces; this portrait is printed on the banner and is not a physical person. Decorative poles with colourful patterns frame the banner, a white-draped table stands below, and a white-clad woman with glasses stands at the right edge beside a small grey-and-white figure. Trees and a blue bird emblem sit behind the banner.2007-11-18February 21 20172017-02-21February 21 20172017-02-21February 21 20172017-02-21April 06 20122012-04-06
