He wears a maroon turban, long white and pink flower garland, layered gold necklaces and armlets, and holds his hand out toward the car. Around him, several men in saffron-orange dhotis and white-and-gold dhotis carry tall silver trident-topped staffs, with white ash markings on their foreheads and bodies, rudraksha malas and gold necklaces. Green foliage and bamboo overhang the scene. A man in a person appearance cues: long styled hair is absent but the turban, ornate gold necklaces and garland match a ceremonial presentation, so this is recorded as probable.2016-12-23July 01 20142014-07-01February 28 20132013-02-28 +1 copiesMay 01 20152015-05-01A smiling man in a reddish-brown dhoti and wrap with a gold-coloured border, wearing multiple strands of large rudraksha beads and a gold ornament, stands beside an open dark car door and clasps the hands of a shaved-headed devotee in an orange-and-gold wrap with rudraksha malas. Several other shaved-headed devotees in saffron and orange garments stand behind them, one with white vibhuti marks on the forehead and hands folded in namaste.2015-04-21June 26 20142014-06-26Night-time photograph of a crowd greeting a man in saffron-orange robes with a matching orange-red turban, a long brown-orange shawl and a beaded rudraksha-style mala, smiling and raising one hand in a wave. Around him, sannyasis in orange and maroon robes wear beaded malas, a bald man in orange with a mala stands at right, and devotees and onlookers lean in, some holding up phones. A large trident-shaped silver ornament rises above the crowd. Behind them are arched pillars painted yellow, red and white under lights, with a vehicle partly visible at left. Swamiji (probable): the saffron-clad man in the orange turban, with long-presentation cues of orange turban and shawl, is greeted by the crowd, appearing to be a visiting dignitary or host.2016-05-06
