A row of people sit cross-legged on the floor of a bright hall eating a communal meal from green banana-leaf plates laid on white cloth. Many wear white kurta-style clothes with red-orange shawls draped over their shoulders. Small paper cups and water bottles line the leaves. Behind them, attendants in saffron and cream clothing move about, and framed pictures stand on tables near the wall. The setting suggests an ashram annadan-style meal during a multi-day programme.2016-02-24 +1 copiesJuly 21 20132013-07-21 +1 copiesDecember 30 20092009-12-30May 23 20152015-05-23 +1 copiesSeveral people sit cross-legged in rows on a polished white floor in a large hall, eating a meal from stainless steel thali trays with rice and yellow dishes. Volunteers in white clothing walk between the rows serving food, and one server wears a white sari with a gold border and carries a plate. A man in a white shirt with an orange cloth draped over his shoulder and carrying a notebook stands at the centre. Other people, including a woman in a green sari with an orange border seated at right, are seated on striped mats. Pillars with orange and yellow banners frame the hall, and a few people stand near the back in the background. This appears to be an annadan style communal meal.2012-05-20
