A woman in a white sari with red border, wearing a name badge lanyard and gold bangles, pours water over the hands of the seated figure from a silver bowl while another woman in a red and gold embroidered blouse holds a small silver vessel. Red roses, white flower petals and silver bowls sit on the golden ledge. Only the hands, lap and lower body of the seated figure are visible; no face is shown, so identity cannot be determined from the image. Ritual setting with flowers and silver vessels.2011-10-22August 16 20092009-08-16A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-trimmed throne with red cushions, wearing a brown patterned robe and a red and white flower garland with a rudraksha-style bead strand. In the foreground, a man in white kurta and a woman in a pink top with a white dupatta are offering or handling small silver bowls and cups placed on a gold-embossed altar base. The seated figure's face is cropped out of frame, so no identification is made from appearance.2011-08-31January 02 20102010-01-02 +2 copiesOctober 22 20112011-10-22November 06 20112011-11-06December 04 20102010-12-04Close photograph of a padapuja, a foot-worship ritual. A woman in a pale green sari with a beaded bracelet and a ring pours water from a small silver vessel over a pair of bare feet resting on a gold-coloured tray. Red and pink flowers, white jasmine-style blossoms and a red sweet in a silver bowl surround the tray. Another person's hand holds a silver spoon at the lower right, and a partially visible figure with dark hair sits at the right edge. Only the feet, hands and hair of the people are visible. The water flowing from the vessel and the offerings sit on the golden plate.2011-10-22
