December 17 20092009-12-17 +1 copiesA worker in a green cloth wrapped on his head and green shorts with a grey t-shirt strikes a large grey stone with a hammer on a bare reddish-brown earth slope. Several cut grey stones lie around his feet, a white stone wall edge is on the left, a green plastic basin sits at the left edge, and green weeds and young trees fill the background. Visible scale suggests stone-cutting for ongoing construction work.2013-06-08January 16 20102010-01-16 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a bare reddish-brown dirt ground at dusk. Two workers in the centre are bent over a large heap of grey crushed stone, one using a long-handled shovel to spread the gravel; a third worker in a yellow shirt is partly visible behind them. On the left stands a man in a red-and-white checked shirt and dark trousers, watching. Scattered gravel covers the ground around them. Behind is a corrugated-roof shed, trees and a red boundary wall.2016-08-06A construction worker in a yellow-green striped long-sleeve shirt, grey trousers, rubber boots and a navy cap stoops over a patch of wet concrete on an unfinished floor, working with a shovel. Piles of sand and cement sit beside him, a white sack and metal tray lie nearby, and a blue scaffold with a wooden ladder rises at right. A second worker in a plaid shirt and jeans stands on scaffolding behind, near bare brick walls and exposed pipes.2009-12-17 +1 copiesA photograph of a construction site beside a grey concrete-block wall with window openings. A large heap of crushed grey stone sits on bare reddish-brown earth. Several workers dig and shovel in the soil: a man in a pink head cloth and pink shirt, a man in a white checked shirt and yellow lungi, and a man in an orange head cloth and white shirt crouching with a small blue bucket and a hoe. Another worker in a white cap and white shirt stands near a blue drum, and a figure in white clothing is at the right edge. Hoses and a few loose stones lie on the ground.2006-12-12December 09 20092009-12-09 +1 copiesAugust 23 20162016-08-23May 21 20072007-05-21 +1 copiesA young man in a pale yellow collared shirt and blue jeans crouches on a concrete-paved area, troweling wet grey mortar or cement into gaps between stone slabs. A metal basin of mortar sits beside him, and a bare-bricked wall with a pipe runs behind. A red-and-orange wrist thread is visible on his arm. This appears to be a construction work scene.2016-09-12A photograph of temple construction labour on a sandy site. Three men work barefoot with long-handled hoes or shovels, mixing wet grey concrete mixed with gravel on the ground. The man in the foreground wears a white shirt and a green-and-yellow checked lungi, bending forward over the mix. Behind him another worker in a white shirt and checked lungi stoops with a hoe. At left, a man in a teal top and plaid lungi holds a red bucket, while an orange bucket sits on the sand. Piles of sand and a loose cloth lie in the background.2006-12-09A man in a pale blue-and-white checked shirt and light green trousers bends over a mound of sand at a red-earth construction site, digging with a long-handled shovel. Stacked grey sacks of cement or material sit behind him, and a wire fence with a few trees runs along the top of the frame. No ritual, deity or a person depiction is visible; the scene shows ground preparation and mixing work.
