The figure has long dark hair, a red bindi and a rudraksha-style necklace, and is receiving honour. Before him, a man in white kurta and a woman in white top bow low and touch his hands, while attendants in orange shawls stand nearby. Garlands and flower petals fill the foreground, and a woman in an orange shawl is seen at the right edge. The throne's gilded backrest carries a deity medallion. Scene looks like a devotional honouring at a ceremonial event; the seated figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues of long hair, saffron robes, bindi and ceremonial garland.2008-07-17July 07 20092009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a Gurupoornima celebration with a long-haired figure seated on an ornate gold throne decorated with floral garlands and marigold strands. Around the throne, devotees in white and orange clothes stand close; a bald elderly man in orange robes bends toward the seated figure, a younger man in white with an orange shawl stands at the left, and a young woman in a brown kurta stands with palms pressed together at the right. A man in white holds a small object near the throne base. Five or more physical people are visible.2008-07-17A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with red and yellow flower garlands draped along its sides, in front of a fiery orange backdrop. The seated man wears an orange robe with an orange shawl over his shoulders, has a red tilak on his forehead, and a rudraksha-style mala is not clearly visible. Several people stand or bend around him: a man in white shirt and white dhoti bows and touches his feet, a man in orange clothing stands with hands folded at left, a woman in a peach-pink sari with a name badge stands at right with hand on her chest, and a man in a light green shirt stands at far right. A man in a white dhoti kneels in the foreground. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with the appearance-based label a person given the saffron robe, shawl and throne setting, but this is uncertain. Visible ritual setting is a padapuja-style honouring with devotees bowing.2009-08-09A photograph on a stage at a darshan event. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne decorated with marigold garlands, wearing a sleeveless coral-pink robe and smiling while raising one hand in greeting. A man in white dhoti and shirt bows with folded hands at the foot of the throne. A young man in an orange-saffron dhoti stands to the left, and a man in a white dhoti and shirt with a neck mala stands at far left. On the right, a woman in white churidar-style attire with a long braid and a woman in a white sari with gold border stand nearby. Garlands of orange and red marigolds hang along the backdrop, and the wooden stage floor is polished.2009-02-14A photograph of a ceremonial padapuja on a stage. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on the forehead, and layered beaded and ornamental necklaces, sits on an ornate gold throne with red zebra-striped cushions. The figure rests a hand on the head of a man in a pink shirt and grey trousers who bends forward to touch the feet. Around them stand several men in white kurtas and a woman in a yellow shawl, with a painted backdrop of large trees behind the throne.2009-12-16
