Indoor temple scene with gold-ornamented doorway and ornate gold-framed shrine behind. A man with long dark hair, white flower garland and dark rudraksha mala, wearing orange-saffron robe with sacred marks, walks forward in the center, appearing to be a person candidate with distinctive long hair, saffron robe and rudraksha cues. Nearby, an older man with white hair and glasses in peach-orange robe and a bead necklace walks on the right, a man in white with orange shawl stands left, and other devotees in orange shawls or saffron robes stand behind. A framed portrait of a seated saint hangs above a shrine with garlands, and a crystal chandelier hangs overhead.2008-08-03A photograph of a group standing together in a dim stone interior with weathered brick walls and a pillar at left. At centre, a smiling man with long swept-back hair wears a saffron-orange robe, multiple long beaded malas, a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, with a white forehead band and a red bindi; his right arm is extended. To his left, a man with a shaved head wears an orange garment, gold necklace and a surgical mask. At right, an elderly man with a white headband and a red-bordered crown-like headpiece wears orange cloth with gold border, bare shoulders and layered beads. Behind them, several people in white and grey clothing stand, one holding a book.2012-05-22 +1 copiesAugust 03 20082008-08-03A photograph of a temple doorway with a green-painted wooden door framed by brass fittings and grey stone walls. A man with long dark hair, white tripundra markings and a red dot on his forehead wears an orange saffron wrap and a long necklace of large gold beads, smiling and gesturing with an open hand as he walks out. To his left stands a bare-chested man with a grey beard, dark rudraksha-style beads and a patterned cloth at the waist. Behind them, men in white dhotis and saffron cloths stand near the entrance. A blue bird logo and copyright text sit in the corners.2012-02-08July 24 20122012-07-24May 18 20122012-05-18A photograph inside an indoor hall with white walls and ceiling lights. In the left foreground a brass deity murti or ceremonial metal object decorated with yellow and purple flower garlands sits on a dark red cloth. A man in an orange turban, orange robes and a long rudraksha mala stands in profile with hands folded at his waist, wearing a large crown-like wrap. Beside him stands an older man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a white flower garland held in his hands. Behind them a man in white clothes smiles, and a framed portrait of two saints in orange hangs on the wall. A person in white with dark curly hair and an orange shawl is partly visible in the right foreground. Several other men in white and yellow clothes are visible in the background.2006-10-15A photograph of a group walking through a temple interior at night. A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, a gold-and-bead necklace, gold armbands and an orange saffron garment with a gold border walks forward, appearing to speak. Probable Swamiji by appearance: long hair, ornate gold necklaces and saffron clothing. Around him, several men wear saffron or orange robes with rudraksha malas, one in a white kurta with rudraksha beads, and a woman in a cream sari stands behind. Another man in a white kurta with rudraksha mala is at the right edge. A carved stone pillar and a metal rod are visible in the background.2012-04-11A photograph of a crowded temple corridor at night, lit by warm lamps with a golden-lit shrine and deity murti visible at the far end. In the centre, a man with swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a gold pendant, a white beaded necklace and a rudraksha mala, and points forward while holding the hand of an older bare-chested sannyasi with a shaved head and tilak, who wears an orange cloth with gold borders and a long rudraksha mala. Other saffron-clad sannyasis, a man in a white kurta, and a uniformed police officer on the right walk along with them.2012-05-20A photograph taken indoors in a plain room with pale grey walls and a wooden door on the left. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a red bindi smiles and gestures toward the doorway. Beside him, a bald man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and red tilak walks alongside. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a red border and a man in white clothing move through the room, with a small table holding a lamp and offerings to the left. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robes and rudraksha malas on the central figure.2012-01-03Four men stand together in a dim temple doorway, all in orange-saffron robes. On the right, a smiling man with long dark hair, a gold crown-band, red and white flower garlands and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace raises one hand in greeting; the person on the far right looks like Swamiji (probable), based on the long hair, crown, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace. Beside him, an older man with a white-painted forehead, a red-and-white garland and dark rudraksha beads smiles. A bald man in orange with a gold chain and red forehead mark stands behind them, and a partly visible person is at the edge. The page lists the setting as a Kanchanoor temple visit, but nothing visible establishes that place.2012-05-16May 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copies
