August 31 20072007-08-31A photograph of men seated at a long stainless steel dining table in a hall, eating from metal plates and bowls of rice and food. In the foreground a man in a white shirt with a yellow bangle and a sacred mark on his forehead eats with his hand, while beside him a man in a checked shirt eats from a plate. Others in white and checked shirts sit along the table, one with a wristwatch. In the upper right, a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure hangs above a shelf with a garland of orange flowers, a shrine-like arrangement. The scene is an ashram-style communal meal.2006-12-17A photograph of a long communal dining hall where many men sit at a long steel table eating from round metal plates of rice and curries. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers; one man at left wears a blue shirt, and another in the back wears a blue uniform-style shirt. Steel jugs and tumblers sit along the table, plastic chairs line the room, and a metal-framed window with grilles lets in daylight. Several men are visibly eating with their hands, and one staff member stands near the back. No a person candidate is visible.2010-07-07Four men in white short-sleeved shirts and grey trousers sit side by side at a long stainless steel table, eating from round stainless steel plates with rice and curries, with a steel tumbler between them.
