A photograph of a person in plain white ritual clothes with a red-bordered cloth climbing a broad granite staircase toward a small stone shrine structure with a flat roof. The climber has a dark blue shoulder bag slung across the body and holds the metal railing. Tall trees with green foliage frame the stairs on the right, and bright hazy light fills the sky above. Faint copyright text appears in the lower right corner.2007-05-092008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-092008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-09A dusty reddish-brown dirt path runs through a grove of thin young trees beside a dressed-stone wall with dark blue-grey blocks and a metal railing. A single person in white clothes walks away from the camera along the path, carrying a dark bag over one shoulder. Sunlight casts long shadows across the dirt, and a low stone border lines the left edge of the path.2007-05-092008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-09A photograph taken outdoors in a leafy garden path paved with flagstones beneath a canopy of overhanging green branches. In the foreground, a bald man seen from behind and slightly to the side wears a white cloth wrap over his shoulder with yellow-orange edging, and carries a black backpack with orange accents and a water bottle clipped on. Faint smoke or incense haze drifts across the left side of the path. A reddish wall and fence appear through the trees in the background.2017-06-172008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-09A photograph at an outdoor temple construction site, with a large unfinished temple tower under scaffolding in the background. In the foreground, a figure in a saffron-orange robe and an orange head wrap stands on a raised concrete platform, facing down toward two bare-chested men in white dhotis with orange borders who stand below in a sunken pit. A third man in a white shirt and light trousers stands at the left edge. A crowd of people in white dhotis, white shirts and dark trousers gathers on the concrete slab and the surrounding ground, and some hold cameras. Marigold petals and orange items lie on the concrete. The figure in orange has long dark hair and appears to be a person, based on the saffron robe, orange head wrap and long hair, in a presiding role over the ritual in the pit.2008-02-182008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-092008 - Nithyananda University - Udal and Kattumurthy Courses2007-05-09Outdoors beside a large banyan tree with thick, twisting aerial roots, a man with long, dark, wavy hair stands in profile with his eyes closed. He wears a white garment with a white shawl edged in orange-red stripes draped over his shoulder. A low grey boundary wall, metal poles and a wire fence stand behind him, with green foliage and sky above. The appearance matches the swept-back long hair and white-and-orange clothing associated with the page's subject, but the identification is uncertain, so the figure is described by role as a devotee standing in meditative stillness.2008-10-27A photograph in a stone-pillared temple courtyard or corridor with weathered pale walls and a tiled roof. Several men walk across the paved floor in a line. Those in front wear saffron-orange garments, with one bare-chested man in a reddish-brown cloth carrying a long staff. Behind them, men in white shirts and white dhotis follow, and one older man in white walks at the right edge. A woman in a white sari with a dark border stands near the left pillars, and a few people are seated further back. A loudspeaker is mounted on a pillar at right. The scene suggests a visit to a temple. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2009-08-01
