Behind him a yellow ornate throne-style chair sits on a white stage with a microphone stand. In the foreground and along the right side, seated attendees wear white head bands and white, yellow, brown and pink clothing, with water bottles and bags on the floor. Appearance-based candidate for a person: the saffron robe and the stage setting suggest a teacher addressing a seated audience, but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2009-12-06A photograph of a seated audience at an indoor hall, many wearing white headbands, sitting on a green mat facing a stage. He wears an orange shawl draped over one shoulder, a short orange top and orange dhoti, with a red tilak on his forehead and dark hair swept back. He raises both hands in a gesture of address, palms open. Behind him is a cream upholstered throne with dark carved wooden trim and a yellow cushion, beside a microphone stand. A small vase of colourful flowers sits to the left. A red banner edge runs down the left side of the frame. The stage setting suggests a public talk or satsang. He wears a flowing orange shawl over an orange robe, with a bare shoulder visible on one side. His hair is swept back and he has a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him is a cream-coloured armchair with dark carved wood trim, a yellow cushion and a red round cushion, beside a microphone stand. A vase of pink and red flowers sits to the left. A large backdrop shows a smiling man in an orange turban and the word 'life' and 'bliss' in grey lettering, with a red-and-orange pattern. Two heads of seated audience members are visible at the bottom edge. A banner reads 'Paramahamsa Nithyananda' in red lettering. Swamiji (probable): the speaker has long swept-back hair, a red bindi, orange robes and a shawl, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference.2010-08-14A photograph of a figure standing on a raised stage in front of a dark blue draped curtain, hands pressed together in a greeting. He wears an orange saffron-coloured robe, an orange turban and a rudraksha mala. Behind him is an ornate dark wooden throne with orange cushions, flanked by two cream upholstered armchairs. White-draped tables hold yellow and orange floral arrangements, and a microphone stand stands in the foreground. A laptop sits on a wooden side table at right. Overhead, stage lights hang from a metal truss. The figure appears to be the Swamiji candidate, and the appearance cues of saffron robe, orange turban and rudraksha mala support that candidate, so the in-person candidate is marked probable.2011-02-01October 23 20102010-10-23
