A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a brass deity murti with a conical crown. A hand holds a silver vessel with a wire-wrapped pattern, pouring water over the murti's face and head. In the blurred background at right, a smiling figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron garment and a thick red and yellow flower garland, seated among white and red floral decorations. Orange walls frame the scene. Only the pouring hand and the seated figure are visible as people.

A photo of a temple ritual centred on a richly adorned deity murti of a goddess, wearing a jewelled gold crown, a green silk sari, layered gold necklaces and a red-and-gold jewelled brooch, set before a backdrop of red roses, purple flowers and white jasmine garlands. A shirtless young priest on the left, with a green turban and white flower garland, offers a folded orange cloth to the murti. On the right, a priest in an orange turban and a second priest with a bearded face and white sacred ash markings on his arms and chest pour water from a silver vessel. Both right-side priests wear rudraksha malas. The setting is a decorated abhishekam-style puja.

Two hands, one wearing a red-brown rudraksha mala bracelet on the wrist, pour water from a large white decorated conch-like vessel over the head of the figure. The murti has a crown, ornate gold jewellery, a raised hand holding a wheel-like emblem, and a red-painted mouth with a tilak on the forehead. Behind it are garlands of yellow and red flowers, purple and teal cloth, and brass lamps. Water streams down the statue's face and shoulders.

Close-up photo of a ritual abhishekam in progress. A hand holding a silver kalasha with a green mango-leaf or grass sprig dips into or pours from the pot, while a second hand supports the base. The pot rests on a cream silk cloth edged with gold and studded with blue and red stones and white beads. In the foreground, a bare arm bears white vibhuti striping and a strand of rudraksha beads. To the right, a person wears an orange-red saffron cloth. The background shows a blurred golden ornamental backdrop.

A photograph of an abhishekam in progress. In the left foreground, a person's arm pours water from an ornate engraved metal kalasha over a small silver deity murti. Behind, a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with a red and yellow flower garland sits on a gold-carved, flower-decorated throne with white and red blossoms. Brass lamps and ritual vessels stand at the left edge. Warm orange backdrop. The seated figure's face is blurred and the person's identity is not established from appearance, so this is a devotee and a seated presence in ritual clothing.
