July 22 20122012-07-22A large video wall displays a grid of nine live-linked satsang groups, each in a separate location. Panels show people seated on floors and mats in homes and centers, many holding handmade placards naming their locations, such as Redondo Beach California, Guadeloupe, Slovakia Poprad, Atlanta Ujjain, Bengaluru North and Sri Madurai. A woman in an orange sari sits on a dais at the lower right, in front of a gold-framed deity image; she wears saffron clothing, a long braid and a rudraksha mala, and a caption reads Nithyananda Paramashivam with the notice. Other panels show people in white and pastel clothes, a central figure in orange robes, a kalasha and offerings. Participants sit on floors and mats, some in saffron or white clothing, and a few sit on sofas. In the bottom right panel a figure in saffron robes, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace sits on a golden throne before a gold-patterned backdrop, displayed on the screen. The large screen dominates the frame, so the people shown are on screens rather than physically present in this room.2013-01-13January 19 20132013-01-19A photograph of a large video wall showing a grid of nine live video feeds from different locations, each with participants seated for a satsang. Top-left, a smiling woman in an orange top and two women in white sit beside a sign reading Redondo Beach California USA. Top-centre, a group in white clothes sits behind a Guadeloupe sign and a small framed photo. Top-right, people sit on mats in a room with a deity shrine. Middle row, a woman in a grey top sits beside an Atlanta Ujjain sign; on the right a man in an orange-and-white robe sits among white-clad devotees with a Bangalore Mandapam sign. Bottom-left, a couple sits beside a Bengaluru North sign. Bottom-centre, white-clad devotees sit with a Madurai Mandapam sign. Bottom-right, a portrait of a man with long dark hair, wearing a rudraksha mala and ornate gold-coloured clothing, sits on an ornate golden throne-like seat with a pink flower; this is a portrait on a screen, not a physical person.2012-07-17A photograph of a large video-wall screen showing a grid of live video-conference feeds for a satsang, with a cinema-like frame and a grey wall around it. Each tile is labelled with a city-and-temple name, including Houston Kalashasthi, Charlotte Srisailam, Los Angeles Arunachala, Ohio Prayag, San Jose Madurai, Sharjah, Oklahoma Somanatham, Toronto Kailasam, Kuala Lumpur Palani and Seattle Chidambaram. Participants sit on mats and cushions in ashram-style rooms; some wear saffron and orange robes, others white, and several have shaved or covered heads. One Toronto tile shows a man in dark robes and a head covering seated by a small offering. Altars with deity murtis, orange drapes and a large framed portrait appear in several tiles. The screen shows people only on screens, so no physical participants are in the photographed room; the feeds show seated devotees in groups.2013-11-15June 26 20122012-06-26 +1 copiesAugust 25 20122012-08-25August 26 20122012-08-26July 23 20122012-07-23A large display screen shows a multi-panel video grid of satsang participants joined from different locations.
