Outdoor ceremonial procession on sandy ground with palm trees behind. A central man in a yellow-green dhoti-style garment and a thick white and red flower garland holds an upright wooden pole, with a gold necklace and armband, hands pressed together in greeting. A man on the left wears a saffron-orange shawl and orange dhoti with a tilak, hands folded. Behind them, devotees in white dhotis with gold borders stand with hands folded, and ornate red, gold and teal umbrella-like standards with embroidered floral panels rise above the crowd. The central man's features are not established by any visible caption, so his identity is unsure.2010-12-20December 20 20102010-12-20Outdoor evening photo of a devotional ceremony near a red-brick building with a signboard reading Anandeshwar Mandir. A man with long dark hair wears a lime-green kurta and dhoti, a white and red garland around his neck and a gold armlet, hands raised together and face tilted upward toward a hanging bell or lamp. Around him, devotees stand with palms pressed in anjali, including women in white and orange saris and men in white dhotis and red-bordered attire. In the foreground at left, a figure in an orange shawl stands with hands folded. A pink cloth on the ground holds yellow and white flowers and a small lamp. The man in green is the clearest candidate for the page's subject, with long hair and a garland, but his face is not distinctively shown.2010-12-20Outdoor photo at dusk of a crowd gathered before a temple-style building with red pillars. In the centre, a long-haired man in a yellow sleeveless garment wears a white and red flower garland with gold beads and a gold armlet, hands pressed together and gazing upward. Swamiji (probable): long hair and a gold ornamented garment with a garland are the visible cues, and his role is the central figure at the gathering. To his left, an older man in white clothes with a mala presses his palms together. To the right, a shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti with a sacred thread and vertical tilak holds an orange cloth. Behind them, many devotees, several women in orange and white saris, stand watching.2010-12-20December 21 20102010-12-21Outdoor photograph of a procession near an orange canopy with draped fabric.
