A woman in the center holds a long wooden pole supporting a yellow and red embroidered umbrella with blue and green floral patterns and a white dove emblem. Women wear orange shawls over white or red blouses, rudraksha malas around their necks, and bindis. Golden staff finials stand on either side. Green trees and a bright sky form the background.2010-01-01December 31 20052005-12-31Outdoor procession scene under a red canopy with fringed tassels in green, yellow, pink and red. A man with long swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange shawl and a heavy gold bead-and-pendant necklace, looking toward a woman beside him. The woman wears a white sari with a gold-bordered edge, a red bindi and a rudraksha-style mala. Behind them, a man in orange with shaved head and a gold necklace stands beside a gold trident-topped staff. A crowd of people in white shirts and white clothes with mala beads watches from the background, with a white building and trees behind. The long-haired man's cues are distinctive: swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold beads, which match the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2008-12-23January 01 20122012-01-01A street procession in daylight with crowds of devotees. In the foreground a young woman in a white blouse and white sari with a gold border and an orange shawl holds a long wooden pole of an orange and red ceremonial canopy, with a red vermilion mark on her forehead. Beside her women in white saris with gold borders and a woman in a yellow sari stand with other canopy poles. A woman at left has a white flower in her hair and an orange cloth draped over her. At right a man in white and an orange shawl stands near the canopy. Behind them other people line the road and a decorated golden and red ornamental float or chariot is visible at upper left, with small shops and buildings in the background.2006-09-24Outdoor procession with decorated ceremonial umbrellas (chatras) of purple, red and gold fabric with red tassels, carried on wooden poles. Among the marchers, a man in an orange turban, orange shawl and layered gold and bead necklaces walks at the centre, with a man in white shirt and rudraksha mala beside him and a bearded man in white carrying a white flag. Women in white and cream saris walk nearby, one holding orange flower petals. Orange flags and green foliage fill the background. Appearance cues for the orange-turbaned figure are present but not conclusive, so identity is marked unsure.2005-12-31A procession of devotees walks along a palm-lined path, carrying orange and white flags with blue emblems and two large red-and-orange ceremonial umbrellas trimmed with gold and floral embroidery. Women in white and orange saris lead, and a woman in white with a light shawl raises a hand near the centre. A decorated multicoloured parasol-style canopy is visible behind them. The scene suggests a ratha or chariot welcome procession.2006-12-14A photograph of a festive outdoor procession beside a red-brick building with a corrugated metal roof. In the foreground, a woman in a white sari with a gold border and a red bindi wears a coral bead necklace and holds a brass pot with mango leaves. To her right, a young girl in an orange shawl and orange sari stands with palms pressed together in anjali. Behind them, a man in white with an orange shawl is visible at the right edge, and a woman in a white and gold sari smiles at the left. Colourful fringed decorative umbrellas and banners hang near the wall, and a pot of water with a ceremonial tassel rests at the lower left.2007-02-15November 12 20082008-11-12Outdoor procession scene with a smiling girl in an orange kurta holding a large round umbrella-like canopy with a red, orange and yellow floral border and a blue-and-white dove emblem on a red centre, raised on a wooden pole.
