A brick fire pit for a homa is the main subject, its red bricks decorated with yellow and red flowers, green and white painted patterns, and dusted with white powder. Flames rise from the centre of the pit with smoke drifting upward. A small steel vessel with liquid sits on the right ledge, and garlands and marigolds are visible at the right edge. Only partial hands are visible at the upper left, holding a book or papers, and a bare arm appears at the far left edge, so no full person is clearly visible.

A large open flame rises vertically from a stone block at night, with a brass ladle-like vessel with a long handle resting on the stone in the foreground. To the left, an orange-robed figure's garment and a garland of red and orange flowers with gold ornaments are partly visible. The background is a dark stone wall. This appears to be a homa or fire ritual. No person's face is visible.

A brick fire pit (homa kunda) burns brightly at the centre of the frame, with white rangoli-style kolam lines painted on the bricks and a red flower lying on the edge. A metal vessel with a long handle. Behind the fire, blurred red flower petals and the orange robe of a seated person appear at the edges. No face is clearly visible, so no one is identified.

Flower petals, scattered rice grains and a few incense sticks lie on the brick ledges around the fire. A polished copper bowl with engraved floral borders sits on the left beside a small brass pot, both holding offerings. Blurred red and maroon cloth appears in the background. No people are visible, only the ritual setup of the fire offering.
