A small white-walled room with a ceiling fan and a glass-fronted bookcase holds a seated group. A man in orange-red robes sits on a white cushioned sofa with a dark base, facing the room, with his bare feet on the floor. A gathering of about 15 people in white and cream clothes sits on the floor in front of him, including women in yellow-and-white saris and a woman with a red bindi wearing a red and yellow sari. Papers lie on the floor and a tray with fruit sits near the sofa. A pedestal fan stands at the right edge. The room looks like a satsang or personal meeting setting. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and body, with a bare upper body visible beneath it. A small wooden footstool sits in front of the chair, and a white electric fan stands at the left edge of the frame against a dark background. Since the appearance cues (long swept-back hair, saffron shawl, seated on a white throne-like chair at a microphone) are present but the figure's face and features are not clearly distinguishable, the identification is uncertain.2008-06-22A photograph of a satsang-style gathering in an orange-walled hall. A man with long dark hair, wearing saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala, sits on a red cushioned golden throne at the left, speaking with one hand raised. Seated devotees on a rug in the foreground and back wear yellow and orange shawls; a bald man in white and yellow presses his palms together in front of brass plates of fruit and flowers. A woman in a white sari with a yellow wrap sits at the right, and a potted plant stands near orange curtains. a person appears in the saffron robes, mala and throne cues, presiding as the teacher. Roughly a dozen people are visible. +1 copiesJune 22 20082008-06-22A photograph of a satsang-style gathering. A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange robe with gold-trimmed edges sits cross-legged on a white cushioned seat with red and gold pillows, gesturing with raised hands and smiling while speaking into a microphone. Around them, men in white kurtas and rudraksha malas, one in a saffron shirt, lean in with hands raised and palms pressed together. In the foreground, several people with dark hair and women in light clothing sit with their backs to the camera. Flowers in orange and purple sit on a table at left. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold-trimmed adornment on the seated teacher, who is presiding over the gathering.2006-05-01Outdoor gathering on a dirt ground. A seated figure in orange robes with long dark hair tied back sits cross-legged on a white-draped raised seat, one hand raised mid-gesture as if teaching. Before them, a younger person in orange robes kneels on a woven mat, and a row of men in white dhotis and white shirts sit on yellow mats to the right, one with palms pressed together. A small wooden item and a folded white cloth lie on the seat. Additional white-clad people stand at the top edge.2010 - Photo Album
