A photograph of a padhapooja ritual on a golden throne platform. In the foreground, several men in white dhotis and yellow shawls sit cross-legged, one holding a small brass bowl of yellow turmeric and reaching toward silver vessels on a tray. A shaved-headed man in white with a yellow shawl and white tilak on his forehead handles the offering. Behind them a man in saffron robes sits on a red cushion, and a seated figure in orange cloth rests on the golden throne at right; no face of that figure is shown clearly enough to confirm identity. A woman in white with a yellow shawl sits at the lower right, and a man holds a microphone at the left edge. Five or more people are visible.
