August 09 20152015-08-09A photograph of a man in an orange-red turban and saffron-orange robe, wearing a heavy garland of white flowers, red roses and green leaves, standing indoors. He smiles while an elderly man in white dhoti and shirt, wearing wire-rimmed glasses, offers him a folded envelope or card with both hands. Behind them a white-clad attendant with a purple shawl reaches in, a bald saffron-clad monk stands at right, and a golden throne with a red curtain is visible. Several men in white shirts and visitor badges crowd the scene. The man in saffron appears to be a probable Swamiji (probable), shown in orange turban, garland and saffron robe, receiving an offering from a devotee.2015-08-09February 02 20102010-02-02August 09 20152015-08-09April 04 20132013-04-04May 22 20122012-05-22 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in a deep red-brown robe and matching turban, adorned with gold and rudraksha necklaces and a gold earring, smiling and reaching forward to accept a booklet in clear plastic from a standing man in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala. Beside the seated figure stand a bald man in saffron-orange cloth and a man in cream dhoti with long hair and a rudraksha mala, with a gold lion-shaped armrest and a garland of yellow and red flowers behind. A woman with grey hair stands at left and a seated woman's head appears at lower right, with a camera and a cameraman at upper left and a golden pillar behind. The seated figure's long hair, crown-like turban, ornate gold ornaments and rudraksha malas match the probable identity cues, so the person is described as Swamiji (probable), seated as the honoured guest receiving an offering.2015-07-31A photograph of an indoor event in a decorated hall with gold and orange drapes. A man in an orange-saffron robe with a red and gold flower garland, a tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair stands at the centre, holding a printed pamphlet and reading it. Two men in white shirts stand to the left, one with palms pressed together in greeting. Several men in white and a bald man in orange stand behind. Behind them, a large portrait of a smiling bald man in orange hangs on a gold-framed backdrop. Several people, all visible, are present.2012-09-20A photograph of a short-haired figure in a reddish-brown robe with a shawl and long garlands of yellow marigolds and red-beaded mala, smiling and holding a small book or gift together with a man in an orange-red silk shawl and ornate garland. Around them stand men in white kurtas and grey shirts, and a painted blue and pink temple-style backdrop with gold finials is behind them. Appearance-based label: the figure with the shawl and beaded garlands is a person, receiving the gift on stage, but the appearance is not conclusive. Several other people are visible at the edges, including a bald older man in white and a man in a grey suit on the right.2013-04-04A photograph of a book presentation indoors. On the right, a man in an orange-red turban and rust-orange garment with a gold-beaded mala and a dark-toned ornate necklace hands a red-and-white covered book to a man in a light blue shirt with a visitor badge. On the left, an older man with glasses and a moustache, wearing a white shirt and peach shawl, stands with palms pressed in namaste. Behind them, a man in white and others are standing, with framed photographs on the wall and a red-draped stage visible.2015-08-09August 20 20152015-08-20April 04 20142014-04-04 +1 copies
