The scene is outdoors, the trunk and aerial roots filling the background.2007-06-22A man in saffron-orange robes stands with his back to the camera, one hand resting against the thick, buttressed trunk of a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. He wears a red-and-white beaded mala around his neck and has dark hair pulled up at the back. Green foliage and a sunlit wooden structure appear behind the tree. The figure's long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha-style mala are visible cues, but his face is not shown, so identity is uncertain and he is described by role as a sannyasi-style devotee in the photograph.A man with long, swept-back dark hair stands barefoot on a low stone ledge beside a large banyan tree, leaning his head and right hand against one of its thick aerial roots with eyes closed in devotion. He wears a sleeveless orange-red wrap with gold-brocade borders and matching orange-red trousers, and a long necklace of gold beads hangs on his chest. White kolam designs are drawn on the ground at his feet, and stone platforms and a small shrine area are visible in the background.2010-12-282011 - Photo AlbumAugust 06 20102010-08-06 +1 copiesA man sits cross-legged on a flat grey rock in a wooded outdoor setting, with slender pale tree trunks and green foliage behind him. He wears a saffron-orange turban, a saffron-orange wrap draped over one shoulder and body, and a long rudraksha mala of brown beads across his chest. His long dark hair falls past his shoulders, and he has a red tilak on his forehead. His hands are folded in his lap and his gaze is directed off to the side. A wooden walking stick lies on the rock at the lower left. Bare feet rest on the stone, with a rocky ground and grass in the foreground.2006-10-10June 22 20072007-06-22December 26 20082008-12-26July 21 20042004-07-21December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copies
