A shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti and shawl, with a tripundra on his forehead and rudraksha mala around his neck, holds a small white box with a red flower and offers it to a woman in a cream sari with gold border. Silver bowls on the gold tray hold apples, flowers and other offerings. Another priest in white with yellow-bordered dhoti sits to the right holding a flower-topped offering. Foreground devotees in white and yellow clothing look on, one holding a printed booklet. The priest in the center does not qualify as an appearance-based candidate for a person.2010-10-20A pada puja style ritual in a hall with a dark backdrop. Central figure, a shaven-headed man with glasses, wears a white dhoti with a pink-and-green border, a gold bead necklace and a white tripundra on his forehead, holding a silver bowl with a red apple-like fruit. Beside him a shaven-headed man in a white dhoti and gold necklace holds a similar bowl, and behind them two men in saffron-orange robes with gold necklaces and white forehead markings stand at microphones. A woman in a white sari with a black beaded necklace sits nearby. On the right, a shaven-headed man in white with gold necklace holds a fruit bowl above a silver tray with pink flowers. Several devotees, including a woman with a long braid in white and a Western woman in a red shawl, sit in the foreground watching.2010-10-19A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and white shawl with red border sits with palms pressed together and head bowed in prayer before an ornate gold altar with a yellow marigold garland. He wears a rudraksha mala and white sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him a woman in a yellow garment with folded hands also prays. In the foreground, out of focus, are the heads of other devotees and silver plates holding fruit and offerings.2010-10-18 +1 copiesClose photo of a man's cupped hands holding a small gold dish with a red fruit. He wears a white dhoti-style cloth with a gold border, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and a black-strapped wristwatch. Blurred figures in white and orange clothing sit behind him in what appears to be a ritual setting.2011-12-19November 20 20112011-11-20November 27 20112011-11-27November 07 20112011-11-07A shaved-headed man in white ritual clothing with a pink-bordered shawl bows his head toward a red apple held in his cupped hands over a small silver vessel. He wears a white tilak stripe across his forehead and gold ear ornaments. To the left stands an ornate gold-embossed panel with scrollwork, and a pink-clad figure is partly visible behind him. The setting suggests a pada puja offering. The man is a priest or devotee performing the offering; his appearance does not clearly match the a person cues, so identity is uncertain.2010-09-08A photo of a ritual padapuja scene in a hall. In the foreground, a man with white tripundra marks and a rudraksha mala, wearing a white dhoti, presses his palms together in prayer beside a young boy in white kurta holding a small brass bowl. Behind them, women in white saris with red borders and beaded necklaces stand with hands folded, and a man in an orange shirt with white forehead marks stands near a microphone. Silver trays hold apples, flowers and offerings. On the right, a seated figure wearing an orange garment and rudraksha beads is being honoured, their bare feet resting on a gold-trimmed red cushioned seat with a golden throne-like frame. A woman with light blonde hair is seen from behind at the bottom right.2010-10-28
