Night outdoor ritual on a stone terrace beside a red wall. At left, a large decorated deity murti with a white and silver crown-like headdress and flower garlands is set on a blue-and-pink pedestal. A devotee in a green-and-white sari holds a brass plate on her head beneath a multicoloured parasol. In the centre, a man in a saffron dhoti and orange shawl with a rudraksha-style mala raises his hands in front of a tray of yellow offerings. Nearby, men in saffron and white robes stand with lamps and a bell, some with colour powder on their heads and clothes. Photograph of a riverside immersion procession at a red-walled ghat. In the water, several devotees in white dhotis and kurtas stand waist-deep, pushing or lifting a wooden frame with a wide flat base; one bald man in a saffron-orange robe stands in the centre of the group. On the left, a large pink and white clay deity murti of Ganesha with a crown-like headdress is carried on a shoulder while a bare-headed devotee in orange holds it. Spectators in white and cream saris sit on the steps, and a patterned umbrella stands at the upper right. A cameraman films from the left.

Night-time outdoor photo beside dense green foliage. A group of about a dozen men gathers around a ceremonial palanquin or deity carrier decorated with yellow and orange flower garlands and white cloth. Several bare-chested men wear reddish-brown dhotis with gold-coloured borders; one wears a shaved head and orange shawl, another with long hair and an orange wrap. Others wear white dhotis and dark shirts, and a man in a blue polo shirt stands at the right edge. Figures are shown in mid-procession, lifting and steadying the decorated carrier, with a yellow-and-white floral deity murti visible within.

Night outdoor ritual on a stone platform beside water. A large decorated deity murti stands on the left, draped with white, pink and red flower garlands and feathered ornaments, with a red cloth behind it. Several devotees in saffron-orange dhotis and tunics hold a tray of offerings and a lit oil lamp, while others in white dhotis and shawls stand with hands folded. One man in a saffron tunic has a bald head and a paler complexion. A colourful striped umbrella is held above the group. Onlookers stand on a red-walled terrace above, some in orange and white clothes. The arati is performed in front of the murti.

Night procession on a paved path with a tractor-drawn gold-trimmed wagon carrying a large decorated deity murti of a multi-armed goddess with a red and white backdrop, garlanded with white and orange flowers. A seated bearded man in red garments and a flower garland rides on the wagon. Nearby, a man in an orange robe walks beside it, along with a man in white dhoti and gold-bordered shawl, a man with white-marked forehead and rudraksha mala, and a woman in red sari. Another illuminated float follows behind, and a tree with hanging seed pods stands at right.

Night photograph of a procession at an outdoor temple site lit by a nearby lamp. In the foreground a figure in a saffron-orange robe with an orange head wrap walks forward, appearing to be a sannyasi or devotee, with long dark hair. Behind him a line of men in white dhotis and white shirts carry ornate multicoloured parasols with fringed tassels, some with orange scarves draped over their shoulders. On the right, a man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a cloth bundle while another worker in dark clothes stands near a bamboo scaffold framework of a structure under a leafy tree. The setting appears to be a temple construction area with a pale concrete wall in front.
