In the foreground, a bare-backed figure with long dark hair wears a red sleeveless garment and a red-and-gold garland, facing away from the camera. Behind them, another person in a red garment walks ahead. On the right, a smiling woman in an orange blouse and orange-and-blue patterned sari holds a wooden walking stick. Several more people in light and white clothing follow down the passage between weathered walls and orange railings.2009-07-13A seated group of devotees fills a temple hall with stone pillars and painted guardian statues. In the centre, a young man in an orange-red sleeveless top with a yellow-and-black beaded mala and a yellow-and-white garland stands near a floral garland hanging at left. Seated in front, a bald, bare-chested man in white dhoti wears a yellow mala, and a bearded man in white robe and rudraksha mala sits beside him. Women in saris of orange, red, teal, white and lavender sit in rows, many wearing yellow-and-orange garlands and forehead markings. Standing figures in white shirts and dhotis watch from the background, and an older woman in peach sari stands at right.2009-07-13Crowded interior of a temple colonnade with tall stone pillars, devotees pressing forward in bright light from an open doorway. Foreground: a young girl with wet hair in a green and yellow sari, and a woman in a black sari with rudraksha mala. A man in white wet clothing and a rudraksha pendant stands at right beside a person in an orange robe. Several devotees wear white or orange clothes, some with hands folded in namaskar. Many people appear damp. In the centre, a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange shawl over his body, a rudraksha mala necklace, and a red tilak on his forehead, raises one hand in greeting. Around him stand white-clad men with orange shawls and mala beads, a man in a striped polo shirt, a man with glasses and a white shirt, a woman in pink on the left, and a man in a green t-shirt with a bead necklace on the right. One man on the left holds a small book. The stone surface and weathered carved walls suggest an outdoor temple visit.2007-07-02August 17 20122012-08-17July 23 20122012-07-23A photograph inside a stone temple corridor with carved pillars and bright daylight at the far end. In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes with a red headcloth, gold beaded necklace and a gold medallion walks forward holding a tall silver trident-topped staff. Behind him a young woman in a red-and-saffron garment with a rudraksha mala and gold necklace walks with palms raised. Another man in red robes carries a golden vessel. Devotees along both sides, many women in cream and green saris, stand with palms pressed together in namaste. This appears to be a procession through a temple. The foreground man is an appearance-based a person with saffron robes, gold necklace and trident staff, and the page says he is present.2009-07-13August 17 20122012-08-17September 11 20122012-09-11 +1 copies
