In the foreground, several people in saffron, orange and red saris, a man in a white shirt, and a bald child in a red-and-navy top look toward the front. No stage figure is clearly visible, so no identifiable central speaker is shown.2008-10-15 +1 copiesA large audience fills a warmly lit indoor hall seated in rows of chairs, facing toward the front of the room which is out of frame. Most attendees wear white shirts, kurtas or saris, with several women in orange, red, purple and magenta silk saris and some older women with white hair. Many hold small printed booklets or photo cards. Ceiling light fixtures hang in rows above, and dark drapes frame the windows along the walls. The scene suggests a book-release or discourse event with a seated congregation.2009-03-03Elevated view of a large indoor hall filled with hundreds of seated participants on blue and pink mats. Most men wear white dhotis and shirts with white headbands, while women wear colourful saris in red, pink, green, yellow and orange. Several orange-robed monastics sit near the front of the crowd on the right. Banners hang on the back wall, including a white-and-red panel with a portrait and a yellow Tamil banner, and ceiling fans and speakers are visible. Appears to be a group workshop session with participants seated in rows.2009-01-24July 29 20082008-07-29A large indoor hall filled with seated audience members facing a stage at the far end. Most attendees are men in white shirts and white clothing, seated on white plastic chairs over green carpet, with some women in colourful saris seated on the right side. A backdrop on the stage shows a large framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with a headpiece and a banner with printed Tamil text, flanked by a yellow-and-red emblem. Two large projection screens hang on either side of the stage, with smaller monitors below them. Overhead white ceiling fans and exposed steel roof trusses are visible. The scene suggests a satsang talk or public discourse. The portrait is a depiction on a backdrop, not a physical person on stage.2010-08-19October 15 20082008-10-15October 15 20082008-10-15October 15 20082008-10-15
