Photo of a serving line for a meal inside a plainly decorated room with white walls, red scalloped valance trim and a crystal chandelier. Several devotees in orange saffron shawls serve food from large stainless steel pots on a white counter: yellow dal in a Maxima pot and flatbreads or rotis from another pot. A man on the left with curly hair, glasses and a dark t-shirt holds a steel plate of food. An older woman with grey hair in white clothes and an orange shawl holds a plate. Women in plastic gloves ladle food, one wearing a red patterned top and bangles. Framed photographs of a man in orange robes and a woman in white hang on the wall behind the line.

The woman on the left wears a white dress and beaded necklace and holds a serving spoon. The woman in the centre wears a white and patterned outfit and clear plastic gloves while serving. A man in a white shirt and orange shawl stands beside them with his hand raised to his forehead. A woman with curly dark hair, wearing a white sari with gold borders and an orange shawl, stands at the counter facing them with a cloth bag on her shoulder. Steel tins and metal containers sit on the counter, and the wall is tiled in dark brown.

A serving line for a meal in a plain room with a barred window and a wooden door. A woman in a white sari with a light shawl and gold-rimmed glasses holds a white foam plate while an attendant in white kurta with an orange headscarf ladles rice from a steel pot. Other volunteers in orange scarves and white kurtas stand behind the counter, one in an orange cap and another in a beige sweater with a yellow scarf and rudraksha mala. Steel pots of rice and dal sit on the counter, and an older man in grey kurta with an orange scarf stands at the left edge. Distinct from a ritual, this is a food distribution scene.

A man on the left in white clothes and an orange shawl wears clear plastic gloves and uses a ladle over a large pot of curry, with steam rising. Beside him a younger man in a grey knit cap and orange shawl smiles. Other seated people in orange shawls are visible in the background, eating at tables. The scene reads as annadan, community food service.

Other people in white and orange stand nearby, and colourful paper streamers hang from the ceiling.
