A large hall with cream tiled floor and orange curtains shows a crowd of many participants kneeling and bowing forward with foreheads touching the floor, in a prostration posture. Most wear white tops with light trousers, while others wear blue, yellow, green and teal clothing. Several stacks of folded striped mats and bedding are stacked along the left wall. A few people in the background stand near shelves. No identifiable a person figure is visible among those kneeling; the scene reads as a group pranam or prostration during a retreat-style gathering.2010-02-20A photograph of a meditation or yoga session in a whitewashed hall with terracotta floor, ceiling fans and orange cloth-draped walls. In the foreground at right, a figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange garment and faces the crowd; the figure's back is turned, so identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, and the person is best described as a sannyasi giving satsang. A microphone on a boom stand is positioned in front of the seated group. Behind them, a standing person in white with an orange shawl stands near a tripod-mounted camera, and rows of people fill the room. Walls are yellow with ceiling fans and recessed lights, and a small bird logo appears in the upper-left corner.2008-06-09A large hall with terracotta floor and white pillars where many people in white clothes kneel and bow forward with their foreheads near the floor on orange and striped woven mats, in a prostration posture. A man in the centre front wears white clothing, a rudraksha-style beaded necklace and an ID badge, sitting upright with hands on his thighs while others bow around him. A woman in white with an orange sash stands at the upper right, tending the mats. Orange wall hangings, stacked mats, chairs and a cabinet line the back of the room, and a few bags and papers lie on the floor at the lower edge.2010-02-09A photograph from a Shakti Spurana programme in a large hall with a dark ceiling and recessed lights. In the foreground, seen from behind, a figure sits cross-legged in an orange-saffron cloth wrapped as a turban and robe, with long dark hair spilling down the back, holding a white microphone up in one hand. Facing this figure, a crowd of people in white and pale green clothing, many wearing white headcloths, stands with heads bowed toward the front. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the right edge. The orange-robed figure is seen only from behind, so the appearance cues are partial.2004-06-27A large indoor hall with a concrete floor and a yellow painted line, where many young people in white dhotis and orange shawls, along with others in white and pink or yellow salwar-style clothing, sit and prostrate themselves face down in rows toward the front. A small table with a cloth, a brass oil lamp and an offering bowl stands at the left edge. Banners, draped fabric and a few framed pictures hang on the back wall, with ceiling fans and tall decorated poles above. Some seated attendees watch from the right side. The scene suggests a ritual prostration event, with the front-row figures bowed forward.2007-10-01A large hall with a tiled floor and white walls under a thatched roof with ceiling fans, where rows of people in white clothes kneel and bow forward with foreheads to the floor on orange and blue mats. Orange cloth draped on stands and folded bedding line the back. At the right, a man in white with a long-sleeved white top and a garland stands at the head of the rows, while another man in light clothing raises an arm at the far right. A few people in orange and pink saris and mixed attire kneel in the middle rows. Bags and papers lie on the floor between the rows. A small logo appears at the top left corner.2010-02-09A large hall with a glossy white tiled floor holds a crowd of several hundred people kneeling and bowing forward with foreheads touching the ground, in a prostration posture during a satsang-style gathering. Red curtains line the windows, and cardboard boxes and storage are visible at the back of the room, with more seated attendees along the far wall.
