April 27 20182018-04-27December 14 20162016-12-14A man with long swept-back dark hair, a rust-brown turban and a gold armlet, wearing a brown-orange shawl over the shoulder, bows over a garlanded deity murti with his hands, adjusting gold ornaments and pink, yellow and red flower garlands on a golden figure. Behind him another priest in a deep red turban stands beside floral garlands, and a golden decorated figure appears at right. The setting is an ornate temple sanctum with a gold-framed backdrop. The man has long hair and a shawl, and the page attributes this event to a person, so the appearance-based label applies: a person, performing a puja and garlanding the murti.2016-12-14Close photograph of a golden deity murti being embraced or honoured by a figure in a maroon turban and dark clothing, with the head bowed. The murti wears a purple cloth, gold armlets and bangles, and multiple garlands of yellow marigolds, red and white flowers and green leaves. Ornate gold and jewelled decoration frames the scene in warm, hazy light.2017-11-11December 14 20162016-12-14December 23 20162016-12-23November 11 20172017-11-11April 27 20182018-04-27 +1 copiesDecember 19 20162016-12-19December 14 20162016-12-14December 14 20162016-12-14A man in a saffron-brown turban with a silver brooch leans forward over a decorated deity murti, pressing his forehead to its golden crown. He wears a brown silk garment, a long pink and white flower garland, and gold bangles on his wrist. Behind him, marigold and rose garlands in yellow, red and green drape the figure, with white flowers and gold ornaments visible. The scene appears to be a devotional darshan or padapuja at a temple setting.2017-11-11
