The figure wears a white turban with a red-stoned jewelled ornament, a red and gold brocade garment, and a heavy multi-strand necklace of white and red-green jewels. A thick white flower garland hangs from the shoulders. The right palm is raised in a blessing gesture and the left hand rests open at the side, both with red markings. The statue has bronze-gold skin tones and long dark hair. Ornate gold repoussé frames surround the niche. Because the figure is a statue, it is depicted rather than physically present, and the appearance cues (long hair, turban, ornate clothing and jewellery, garland) fit the page's reference to Swamiji, so the statue is labelled a probable depiction of Swamiji.2015-08-23October 11 20172017-10-11A photograph of a life-sized statue of a bearded sage dressed in a rust-brown sleeveless garment and brown wrap, wearing a red-and-cream turban and heavy layered silver-and-gold necklaces with a large circular pendant. The statue's right hand is raised in blessing. It stands framed by a semicircular arch of garlands in red, yellow, green, purple and white flowers. To the left, a deity murti in gold and pink garments stands partly visible, and a brass oil lamp burns at the right. No living people are visible; the figure is a statue or murti, not a person.2017-09-11A golden statue of a standing male figure in an ornate gilded shrine niche, raising its right hand in abhaya-like blessing. The figure wears a maroon and gold turban with a red tilak, long dark hair, layered maroon and white beaded necklaces, a jewelled heart-shaped pendant, a maroon blouse with gold borders and a maroon dhoti with a gold border. Behind it hangs yellow and gold brocade with white floral motifs, framed by carved gold-toned panels with peacock-like designs. The statue is a depiction, not a living person, so no physical people are present.2014-02-02A silver-toned statue of a sannyasi stands in a golden ornate arched niche against a shimmering orange and gold cloth backdrop. The figure wears a red turban, a red drape over the body, a rudraksha mala with a large ornate pendant, and red-tinged sandals with beaded anklets. The right hand is raised in a blessing gesture, and a red tilak marks the forehead. The statue is a depiction and no physical people are present.2011-11-11
