Several sannyasis in saffron and orange robes sit cross-legged on a white tiled floor at a ritual, with white vertical tilak marks on their foreheads and white paste on their arms. Rudraksha malas hang around their necks. Each has brass and silver plates before him holding yellow marigold petals, pink flowers, small brass oil lamps, bells, a brass kalasha-style vessel and cups. Several men with shaved heads and orange robes sit in rows behind them, and a few younger boys in the background watch. Red curtains and framed pictures hang on the walls, and a small bag rests on the floor. The scene looks like a puja or abhishekam preparation.

To the right, a man in a rust-coloured robe and rudraksha beads sits with hands folded. Behind them, many boys and young men in saffron and orange robes with forehead markings and beaded malas sit attentively. Floor mats and steel barriers frame the scene.

Each sits before a small silver puja tray with brass vessels, flowers, fruit and oil lamps, and several hold their hands in prayer or offerings. Behind them, adults in white and orange clothing sit on chairs and along the back of the hall, with a grey-bearded man in orange robes seated at the top. The hall has white tiled floors, white barrier stanchions and red mats. A small sanctuary-style framed image sits on one tray, and the scene reads as a ritual gathering.
