Many men and women wear white and cream traditional dress, including dhotis and white sarees, with some in white shirts and others in orange or blue. Several people carry tall orange and red triangular flags and ornate pennant standards with gold and red patterns. In the centre a decorated ratha/chariot with yellow and gold ornamentation, a canopy and umbrellas is pulled through the crowd. A white bus with signage and loudspeaker stacks stands in the background, and a small boy in a red shirt is in the foreground. The crowd is dense and occupies most of the frame.2009-12-27A festival procession on a dirt ground in front of a white bus with a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham banner and framed portraits displayed on its side, with palm trees behind. A woman in a white sari with a red-bordered shawl carries a round gold-fringed emblem disc, and a man in white holds a tall orange flag on a pole. Other women in white saris and yellow blouses walk alongside, a man in a yellow turban and bare-chested drummer with a drum appear at left, and men in white kurtas stand at right near a table. Orange pennants and a garland-decorated bus frame the scene. A printed banner reads Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham, and no Swamiji candidate is visible.2008-12-30December 27 20092009-12-27December 27 20092009-12-27
