A festive ceremony in a decorated hall with white pillars and floral arrangements in orange, pink and yellow. In the foreground, several smiling men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and white sacred ash on their foreheads and arms sit on a gold-and-red seat and steps. Nearby, a person in white with gold-bordered cloth is seated, and another in a white dhoti and shawl sits beside them. Behind, women in saris and women in traditional wear stand near brass vessels, kalasha pots, and garlands. A camera operator on the right films the scene.

Five people in orange and saffron robes stand at night beside an ornate gold-colored throne or peetha with carved floral borders and finials. On the left, a smiling woman with a red bindi wears a rust-orange sari-style wrap and a long rudraksha-style bead necklace. Next to her, a shaved-headed man in orange wears a rudraksha mala. In the centre, a younger man in brown-orange robes with gold borders and a gold-trimmed shawl holds a folded orange cloth in both hands. To the right, a bespectacled man with a shaved head wears an orange shawl and beads. At the far right, an elderly man with a long white beard and white hair, in a bright orange robe with a vibhuti mark on the forehead, reaches toward the gold throne. A man in white stands partly hidden behind them. A cinder-block wall forms the background.

Young boys in orange and maroon robes with white tilak marks sit cross-legged on the floor during a ritual, several holding their hands up in mudra gestures and one pouring or offering from a small vessel. Brass oil lamps, a silver puja tray, small brass bowls, flower offerings and a banana-leaf plate sit on a silver-covered platform in front. Older men in white dhotis and orange robes sit among them, one raising an arm, with rudraksha malas visible around necks. Some boys wear rudraksha malas and a few have bracelets. The setting is an indoor hall with red chairs and a pale floor.

A photograph of an annadan food-serving line inside a white tent with white draped walls. Several people in saffron and orange robes stand behind brass warming trays with ornate gold-trimmed frames, serving rice and food to people in front. A long-haired man in an orange shawl and a bald man in orange with rudraksha malas serve from the trays, while a woman in orange with glasses also serves. Some servers wear white hairnets. In the foreground, a woman in white with an orange shawl and a man with his back to the camera face the serving line. Other servers in white and orange stand along the right side of the tent.

A photograph of a large indoor ritual gathering under a corrugated roof decorated with paper lanterns and leafy garlands. Seated on a red-cushioned dais in orange robes, a central figure holds a golden trident-topped staff while a woman in orange sits beside him. Other saffron-clad figures with rudraksha malas flank the dais, and a priest in white kneels before white-powdered offering trays laid with fruit, flowers and brass items. Behind, a golden kalasha and deity murti sit on a decorated stand. Hundreds of seated devotees, many in white and some in saffron, fill the hall. A poster-like backdrop with photographs hangs on the far wall.

A gilded lion-headed throne stands on a wooden platform in a decorated hall. A man seated on the throne wears orange-brown robes, a white and red flower garland and a tilak, and holds a small ceremonial object. Before him, a man in a yellow turban and yellow-white robes sits cross-legged on a patterned carpet beside a child in white and a woman in white with an orange shawl, with brass vessels in front of them. Green foliage decorates the background.
