A crowded riverside ghat scene at Pashupatinath with many devotees in orange and saffron shawls. In the centre, a long-haired person in orange clothing and layered gold necklaces sits on a red cloth beside a brass puja set with silver plates, oil lamps, fruit and a brass ritual implement. Another person in white robes and an orange shawl stands nearby, and a bald man on the right wears an orange robe, rudraksha-style beads and a forehead tilak. Steps and a stone bathing area lead down to water behind the crowd. No identification of any individual is made here, and the page does not indicate a person's presence.2012-08-01A photograph of a padapuja ritual inside a room with grey stone walls. A bare-shouldered man with long dark hair, wearing a deep maroon cloth, a yellow-and-white flower garland and gold bangles, sits on an ornate red throne with silver trim on the left. Beside him a shaved-headed man in orange robes and a white garland sits with hands joined. Devotees kneel on the floor, one washing the feet of the seated figure from a silver plate of flowers and offerings. Behind them stand people in orange, pink and maroon saris and white shirts, including a young girl in pink and a small boy in a striped shirt, with a tall brass staff and a kalasha-like brass vessel visible at the top. Several figures in orange sannyasi robes and rudraksha malas stand in the background. Multiple rudraksha-style beads and a rudraksha mala are visible, and a tilak marks the forehead. The figure holds a tall silver ceremonial staff with a rounded finial, one hand resting on a knee, on a stone step at an outdoor temple setting. Behind, seated devotees in orange and white clothing, one with hands pressed to the face, and a golden lion-head carved chair edge are visible. The figure shows strong appearance cues (long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala) consistent with a person, seated with the ceremonial staff.2012-08-01Indoor event photo at a large convention hall.
