Men in white dhotis and shirts walk in the foreground, with a drummer in a yellow dhoti and white shirt beating a drum and musicians playing a long wind instrument behind him. A cameraman in white stands at left filming with a tripod-mounted camera. Behind the group, saffron-and-gold decorated umbrellas or ratha-style canopies move through the crowd, and a bunch of green bananas hangs at right. Red boundary walls and a large structure appear in the background. Rows of men on both sides play large barrel drums (thavil-style) with sticks. They wear white dhotis and white shirts, with orange or saffron shawls and sashes draped over their shoulders, and some have orange tilak marks on the forehead. Tall orange saffron flags on poles line the path and flutter overhead, with a low wall and green foliage in the background. The scene suggests a drumming procession welcome for a festival day.2008-12-29
