Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots, a man with long dark hair stands barefoot on a wet stone platform, palms pressed together in namaskar. He wears an orange-red silk-like dhoti and a matching shoulder cloth, with a beaded necklace. Beside him a large black stone deity murti seated on a pedestal wears an orange garment and an orange headband, with a yellow cloth backdrop behind it. Red-orange sindoor-coated stones and a Shiva lingam-like form sit at the base, with brass oil lamps and a small brass puja set on a tray. A clear glass box and a pale stone platform complete the shrine area.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots and a raised stone platform. A person in an orange-red sari-style garment with a long orange-beaded necklace stands barefoot on a red mat near the trunk, appearing to face a shrine. At right, a white arched niche with green backdrop houses a dark deity murti decorated in orange cloth and a garland, set beside a circular platform heaped with red flowers and a small lamp. Red mats lie on the ground and dry leaves are scattered across the dirt. Appearance-based cues are insufficient to name the standing person, so the role is described only as a devotee.
