July 06 20102010-07-06A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes sits on an orange throne-like chair, smiling, with a red bindi on his forehead. He wears layered garlands of white jasmine and red flowers with green leaves draped over his shoulders and chest. Behind him stands a large golden structure and a gold-and-yellow draped deity murti with a kalasha-like finial. A man in white kneels at the lower left, bowing his head toward the garland. A blue book and a small brass bowl sit on the ledge at left, and a second saffron-clad figure is partly visible behind. The setting appears to be a temple or ashram darshan with garlanding and honour.2010-07-06A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits in an orange upholstered armchair with his palms pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed. He wears an orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti-style garment, with a long red and white flower garland and gold ornaments draped down his front. His bare feet rest on an orange footstool with a wooden sandal-like mat. Behind him, a shrine area shows gilded ornate metalwork, a brass kalasha-like vessel, and a blue-robed deity murti in a pink arched niche.
