Beside him a bearded man in orange robes with a gold-beaded necklace holds a silver tray as well, and a robed man in orange with a gold necklace stands nearby. Behind them a dense crowd includes a man in an orange turban holding a golden staff topped with a trident-like finial, women in white and pink saris, and men in white shirts. Possible a person appearance: the young man in the foreground wearing floral garlands and orange cloth. He wears a rudraksha mala and a white garland of flowers. Behind him, other people in orange and brown robes stand in white garlands. Red markings are visible on the cow's face and horns. The setting suggests a Mattu Pongal cattle worship rite. The man's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, and his role is a priest or devotee.2018-01-15 +1 copies
