Night photograph of a gilded processional shrine (ratha) with a golden canopy, carved pillars and white and red flower garlands draped along its edge. Inside the open shrine sit two deity murtis, one wearing a tall crown and the other adorned with gold necklaces and a bright multicoloured garland, with a purple cloth hanging at the side. Two red flags flank the top of the structure under a dusk sky, and a lamp lights the interior. No living people are visible in the frame.

Dusk photograph of a decorated open-air shrine on a raised golden platform, framed by a gilded canopy with white jasmine and orange-red floral garlands. Two seated deity murtis are the central subjects: the figure on the left wears a golden crown-like headdress and rich gold jewellery with a green dhoti and garlands, while the figure on the right wears a red sari-style garment, gold ornaments and a crown with garlands. A small metal utsava vigraha or ornate lamp stand sits in front, with a brass lamp and a tray of pink flower petals and fruit below. Purple and gold draped cloth hangs at the right side, with a golden screen on the left. No physical people are visible.

A photograph of a procession with a gilded wooden ratha (chariot) decorated with white jasmine garlands and orange-red flower strands along its roof edge. Inside the open shrine-like canopy stand two deity murtis draped in red and garlanded, with a gold crown-like headpiece and gold necklaces. Carved gold panels, a small relief of a seated couple above, a red flag, and white flags frame the chariot. A dense crowd of devotees surrounds the ratha on a street lined with multi-storey buildings; many people in the foreground have their hands folded in namaskar. No individual can be clearly identified as a person in the visible portion, so the figures at the chariot are deity murtis rather than a person.

Night photograph of a decorated processional shrine (ratha) with ornate gold-coloured carved pillars and a golden canopy. Two standing deity murtis, a male figure with a white crown and a female figure, are draped in layered white, red, pink and yellow flower garlands. A bright light flares above them. Red flags stand at the sides, and speakers sit at the base near a hanging string of flower garlands. The murtis are statues, not living people, so no physical people are visible.

Night photograph of an ornate golden ratha or palanquin-style procession vehicle with a deity murti seated in its centre, decorated with dense garlands of white, yellow and red flowers, and hanging tassels in pink, green, blue, yellow and purple. A gold canopy with scalloped fringe covers the top, and gold ornamental figures and a bell-cluster ornament flank the sides. A red cloth drapes behind the murti. Partly visible at the edges are a few onlookers and a loudspeaker on the right, with a gold staff or ornament at the far right. The darkness and stage lighting leave the background mostly black.

A temple scene at a golden shrine decorated with white jasmine garlands and red and white floral swags. A man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban stands at left, bare-chested with a saffron cloth over his shoulder, holding a brass lamp or vessel with a small flame. Inside the shrine, a seated deity murti in white dhoti-style cloth and a green draped garment sits on a red-cushioned throne, adorned with garlands, a crown and gold ornaments. Flower trays with pink and white blossoms rest at the base, and orange flags hang at the right. Several people are faintly visible in the background.

A night photograph of a decorated festival vehicle with a golden bull figure on its left side. Standing images of deities are dressed in pink and magenta satin cloths and draped with white and yellow flower garlands. A red and pink headdress crowns one figure. Bright lights illuminate the gilded structure against a dark background, and a small light stand is visible at left. No physical people are visible in the frame.

Inside, a deity murti or utsava image is decorated with red, orange and white flower garlands and draped in green and red cloth. The murti wears a silver crown, layered silver jewellery and a red silk drape, framed by a tall arch of orange, white, pink and green garlands.
