A close shot of a temple ritual in smoky light. A man in a plain white dhoti and white upper cloth, with pale ash marks on his arms, hands a folded yellow card or prasad slip to a hand reaching from the left, where a person wears a red-and-dark bead bracelet. Behind them a carved dark wooden or stone panel and a second person in white and gold-bordered cloth are partly visible. Smoke or incense haze fills the frame.2018-01-28May 21 20122012-05-21KAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 1/28/20182018-01-28 +1 copiesNovember 10 20112011-11-10May 09 20122012-05-09 +2 copiesKAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 1/28/20182018-01-28 +1 copiesMay 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesDecember 30 20182018-12-30 +1 copiesClose view of two people seated cross-legged on a floor covered with an orange cloth, both in white dhotis with gold-bordered yellow cloth draped over them. The person on the left wears a rudraksha-style bead mala and a gold bangle and holds his hands together over the cloth. The person on the right, wearing a bead necklace and a gold bangle, has smoke rising from incense near the hands. In front lie a ripe banana, a white flower with a leaf, a small brass bowl, a brass plate, and a lit oil lamp. No face of the seated figures is clearly shown; the scene conveys a ritual observance.2011-09-19Night-time ritual photograph at an outdoor temple-style space lit by overhead lamps. A bare-chested devotee with a gold chain and rudraksha-style beads kneels on a striped mat, while a standing priest in white dhoti and shawl holds a gold sheet over his head. In the foreground, a man in white dhoti and a multicoloured striped shawl, with an orange cloth at his waist, extends his hands toward an offering. A flower-decorated tray, kalasha-like vessels, marigold garlands and a pink flower arrangement sit on a low table, with smoke drifting through the air. Red pillars and foliage frame the background. This appears to be an abhishekam or puja-type ceremony, with three people visible.2017-09-05July 17 20162016-07-17Close photograph of two people's hands and arms in a ritual exchange outdoors.
