June 24 20222022-06-24A screenshot of a video-conference gallery showing a grid of participant tiles for a global online prayer session. Most tiles show names rather than video, with a few live webcam views of people in rooms. One tile shows a woman in a red sari with a red bindi, standing before a framed image of deity murtis adorned with garlands; her tile is labelled Kailasa Los Angeles. Another live view shows a bald man in white clothing and a rudraksha-style necklace. A man in a dark robe with a turban-like head covering and a ceremonial sword-like object appears in a painted tile labelled Kailasa Los Angeles, which is a depiction. A woman in a blue patterned top with red earrings sits in front of a plain wall. Other tiles show participants' names with no video.2021-09-08A collage of about twenty video-call tiles from an online Zoom-style gathering, arranged in a grid. Most tiles show individual participants in home settings or with warm orange-gold KAILASA backdrops. One tile at top shows a figure in red and gold with a crown-like headdress before a painted deity backdrop, and another shows a woman in a white head covering. Participant names are overlaid on the bottom of many tiles. The grid shows remote attendees rather than one room.2022-01-22KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 1/22/20222022-01-22Photo 82877972021-11-27 +1 copiesKAILASA TORONTO, CANADA on 11/27/20212021-11-27 +1 copiesA Zoom video-call grid screenshot of a Deepavali online gathering with sixteen tiles of participants in their homes.
