Photograph of a ceremonial scene in a stone-walled hall with carved wooden screens. A seated man on an ornate white and red throne wears a dark red-brown robe, a crown-like headpiece with a crescent ornament, gold armlets, and a long garland of white and pink flowers with red roses. He raises one hand in blessing with eyes closed. Beside him, a shaved-headed assistant in orange clothing and rudraksha beads holds a tray of fruit and coconut halves and stands on a patterned rug with scattered flower petals.2018-04-20A seated man in a rust-red robe sits on a leopard-print cushioned throne with hands folded in prayer, eyes closed, a white tilak on his forehead and long dark hair falling behind him. A younger attendant in saffron robes and an orange turban stands at left, holding a small white offering on a tray and wearing rudraksha beads. Behind them hang deep red curtains, a silver ornamented backdrop with carved figures, a silver trident-like staff and a brass urn beside the throne, with a brass railing in the foreground. The setting suggests a formal satsang on a dais. The seated man is the central figure and is presented as a person by his throne, long hair and rust-red robe, though appearance alone is not conclusive.2018-05-27Night-time courtyard ritual photograph. A seated man on a gilded, ornately carved throne with red cushions wears a saffron-orange robe, a sandalwood tilak on his forehead and a rudraksha-style neck mala; he raises one hand toward his face. Before him, a bare-chested attendant in a red-orange cloth kneels on striped rugs beside a yellow-bricked fire pit with a burning fire, holding a bowl and offerings. Leafy bundles, a green basket of fruit and a carved wooden screen stand nearby, and a stone pillar frames the scene. a person cues: an orange robe, ornate gold throne and mala, though the face is not clearly visible to confirm.2018-05-29A standing man in maroon draped robes faces an ornately carved silver throne with a red velvet seat and cushion, pressing his palms together in anjali namaskar. He wears a tall dark turban-style headwear with a crescent ornament and green beaded band, a long layered garland of pink lotus and white flowers with red blossoms, gold armlets and bangles, and bare feet. A matching silver footstool with a red cushion sits on a patterned rug scattered with rose petals. Carved wooden screens and a stone wall stand behind, with faint incense smoke in the air. The setting suggests a reverential greeting before a throne, with the figure in a respectful pose and no one else present.2018-04-20January 21 20182018-01-21April 20 20182018-04-20A photograph on a stage showing a seated man in a leopard-print throne with ornate silver lion armrests and a silver carved backdrop. He wears a rust-red cloth, a long rudraksha mala, and a forehead tilak, with long hair, and gestures with raised right hand. Two standing attendants in orange cloth with rudraksha malas and white body markings stand to his left; one holds a small white paper or card. A third figure kneels in front with palms joined, bare-chested with white markings, and a small offering plate sits near him. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure matches the presentation cues of long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and a ceremonial throne, so he is described as the seated teacher receiving devotion.2018-04-01Evening courtyard ritual before a carved wooden screen and stone wall. A bearded man with a tilak and long hair sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, eyes closed, wearing an orange-red shawl, flanked by a red rug. Standing at left, a priest in an orange-red dhoti and turban, adorned with rudraksha malas and white body markings, holds a ceremonial vessel and offering. A kneeling attendant in orange presents a white cloth or offering bowl, and a fire pit with burning flames and fruit and flower offerings lies in front. This appears to be a homa or yagna ceremony. Swamiji is probable: long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, orange-red shawl and tilak, seated at the centre of the ritual.2018-05-29March 09 20182018-03-09April 08 20182018-04-08 +1 copiesAugust 15 20132013-08-15April 04 20182018-04-04
