The seated person wears a long dark-hair style with a yellow tilak on the forehead, multiple rudraksha malas, a gold necklace, and an orange-saffron garment with a brown-red shawl. The seated person holds a long silver staff topped with a trishul-like finial near the left edge of the scene. A standing man in a dark navy shirt and white dhoti-style trousers bends toward the seated figure, hands raised in a gesture of reception as the seated figure touches his head. Seated devotees in white and orange clothing with rudraksha malas and orange scarves surround them, and a row of audience members sits behind in mixed clothing. Behind them, seated men in white dhotis with gold borders and mala beads watch, and a camera operator in a red shirt films with a tripod. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at right and a white cooling unit at centre. The scene reads as an ashram blessing or initiation moment.2011-09-17A seated figure in an orange-brown saffron wrap with a gold-edged border and a rudraksha mala draped over the shoulders and in the hair blesses a man in a white t-shirt with a red lanyard, placing a palm on his forehead while he stands with eyes closed and hands pressed together. Behind them, an older man in white dhoti and shawl with a gold border and rudraksha beads sits watching, and several people in white stand in the background near a window.
